I would like to share my experience with Hyatt Regency in Tashkent. On 26th of May, I and my friends decided to go there to watch a soccer game, so my friend called them to make a reservation. The women on the phone said that we needed to pay a deposit Sum 200K, my friend to make it clear asked specifically if the deposit per person or for an entire table. The women said that deposit was for the whole table and all of us heard it, because he was talking on the speakerphone, and all my friends can confirm my story. Hence, we decided to go there because if the women over the phone would have told us the deposit was per person, I wouldn't be willing to pay this amount (Sum 200K x 6ppl), due to the bad quality of the food and even the desserts, as we have been there before, we only come here to drink tea with a nice view. When we made it to Hyatt's seventh-floor bar, we ordered 1 Shisha which was fine and the person who made the shisha informed us the price and served us well. However, waiters were unprofessional and untrained, and to clarify my complaint towards waiters I've ordered two Panna Cotta nonetheless, he brought us different desserts without asking us, desserts were terrible (complaints to the pastry chef). And my friend ordered two berries flavored teas and the same issue occurred, because he brought us English Breakfast teas. As we were sat far from the TV, we wanted to move to the terrace. When the waiter approached us, he told us that if we would like to move to the terrace, we needed to pay Sum 200K per person and we would stay inside we do not need to pay the deposit at all and we told him that women over the phone did not inform us and the waiter replied that she might have forgotten to mention that there is no deposit if we sit inside. So we enjoyed the match when we asked for the bill, a different waiter (they had a shift) came to us with our bill and he also mentioned that there is a deposit per person, so we demanded to talk to the manager but when we opened the bill folder we saw that totall amount was Sum 391K. We were disappointed in crew members of the bar on their bad team working and on their unethical behavior. So we left Sum 400K in the bill folder, we took to the exit and we were stopped by the manager who was demanding us to pay the deposit Sum 200K per person even though the deposits per person was not included to the bill. We told our bad experience to the manager and we insisted him to explain to us why we need to pay the deposit and especially why it was not included in our bill. To what he couldn't find an explanation and told us that it was just a policy of the hotel. Hence, we paid the total amount he demanded. I believe that this was a scam by the crew of the bar to make dirty money, because customers only have to pay the amount written on the bill. ONE MORE THING WHICH BOTHERED ME WAS FOREGN VISITORS PAY TWO TIMES MORE THAN LOCALS INCLUDING HOTEL ROOM FEE, RESTAURANT, BAR ETC. WHICH I TAKE OFFENSIVE AND DISCROMENATION...

09/27/2024 , Today I had really bad experience in restaurant under name Se7te in 7th floor, I had really long time expected and planed dinner with my girlfriend, so far i want to give you some explanation, if you are really punctuational person and everything suppose to work prefect THIS IS NOT PLACE YOU HAVE TO COME. I came there 2 day before dinner and explained everything how it is important for me. I asked to what i can do on the table (romantic decoration) ,they dined and told me this the is policy of Hyatt and never allows to anybody ,I said okay , what they said sir when you come here there will be live singing group in Terrace , and good romantic vibe and good view to Tashkent City, I asked to put table bottle of water , then i arrived what i see everywhere is dark and nothing on the table then i am staying as a stupid with ton of questions ! What Se7te Manager said , he thought that i will sit inside due to they felt cold outside and everything is moved inside with live group , i frustrated i told them why didn't let me know about it i could go another place that i can sit in outside , they just said me where other guests will seat he transferred to inside, and i felt i am not guest that have ordered 2 days ago , overall , Managers Team is not competent in their position zero skill on problem solving after own failure, 0 attention after u arrived and you have to find in own table , only waiters tried to do something but it wasnt enough, This is true life experience i that day, this review suppose to be written in UZBEK language but i decided to let people know who are planning to arrive to this hotel or choosing this restaurant, for me they are not deserve...

We stayed here for a week, and from the perspective of the room and general hotel it was fantastic, completely faultless. The design of the room was excellent, beautiful bathroom and very large bed. Very clean room, provided services as they were needed and to a very good level. Was kept to one of the highest standards we've ever seen in a hotel room. The view from the room was lovely also. The swimming pool and spa were also beautiful and very well maintained, couldn't fault these either.

In terms of the restaurant in the hotel (Khiva), this fell considerably short of the level we were expecting for a hotel of this quality. The food was poor, no flavour or seasoning, and presented very badly also. For the whole time we were in Tashkent, this restaurant was the worst we ate in, very disappointed. Luckily, the room service was very good, however the restaurant could be improved significantly. The breakfast they provide also is average. If you don't have this included in your booking, I would recommend eating elsewhere as the breakfast is very expensive and the quality certainly doesn't match the price.

Another feature that let this hotel down sadly is the location. While they do help to give you transportation to your destinations at the front desk with taxis/transfers with good service, this hotel is very far from any restaurants or attractions (for perspective, we had to walk 40mins to find a nice restaurant). Its located more within the industrial/working sector of the city, so driving is almost definitely required to get to any destination.

One thing to be also be aware of, they charge very high fees for...

5 star hotel, good room condition, other facilities were really good. But, yesterday,... I tried to enter the room, and the door was open. Oh, no! Actually the door did not close automatically, so when I came out in the morning, I closed the door once again. And, Hotel housekeeping seems to have opened the door after clear up. So I went to the counter in the this morning to tell the door is to be fixed. and I took a video of door operation to show them. So when I explain at the counter, one of the staff at the counter said, "You have to close the door when you out." What? I went to say that please check the door condition. But what? They told me that's my fault, if your employees say "we're sorry', that's all, but that make me really upset. I went to a hotel in many countries on business trip, and only the guest house had to close the door when I went out. Should I close the door when I leave the hotel room? Is this a guest house? I was really angry at the staff response.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at the Hyatt, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience, all thanks to Utkur. His attention to detail and passion for creating the perfect breakfast truly stood out. From the perfectly brewed coffee to the deliciously prepared dishes, every element reflected his dedication and skill. Utkur’s warm and welcoming demeanor added a personal touch, making me feel right at home. It’s rare to find someone so committed to excellence and ensuring every guest starts their day on the best note possible. Thank you, Utkur, for a wonderful breakfast and for going above and beyond. Your efforts are truly appreciated! I look forward to returning soon.
