We had the pleasure of staying at Intercontinental Tashkent for 4 nights, and it was even better than our previous visit in 2023. The exceptional service is what brings us back. Every staff member greets you with a smile and genuinely offers assistance, which is heartwarming. During check-in, we were offered hot towels to refresh, and when I requested connected rooms to accommodate our family of five, they went above and beyond by not only arranging it but also upgrading us to rooms with a terrace — perfect for our kids and elderly mom.

The amenities we enjoyed were excellent, including the foreign currency exchange, concierge services, executive lounge, heated whirlpool, infinity swimming pool, salon, and gym. The whirlpool had a minor issue on the first day, but it was promptly fixed the very next day after we raised it with management. The indoor pool area was fantastic, with sunbeds, changing areas, and lockers.

A special shout-out to the concierge team at Intercontinental Tashkent, led by Miraziz, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay and for our trip to Samarkand. Miraziz and the concierge desk took care of every detail, including booking train tickets at our preferred times and arranging a tour with a knowledgeable guide, Maruf. They also provided outstanding support when we a ccidentally misplaced a phone — Miraziz worked quickly and efficiently to ensure the phone was safely returned to us without us having to worry about a thing. The concierge team’s professionalism, helpfulness, and attention to detail truly elevated our stay, and we are incredibly grateful for their outstanding service. They made our trip even more memorable.

Review of Tour in Samarkand (Maruf Khan): We had a memorable one-night stay in Samarkand with an exceptional tour guide, Maruf Khan. He made sure we made the most of our short visit by providing insightful commentary on key sites like Registan Square, Ulugbek Observatory, Amir Temur Monument, Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, and the local bazaar. Maruf's knowledge wasn’t just limited to the sights but extended to a broader range of general knowledge. His fluent English made everything easy to understand, and his kindness toward our children was truly heartwarming. Maruf also went above and beyond when my daughter misplaced her phone. He coordinated with the concierge, Miraziz, and arranged for the phone to be safely delivered to our hotel, allowing us to continue our day worry-free. His honesty and hospitality are a testament to the warmth of Uzbek people.
