Youth Homestay Sapa — Attraction in Sa Pa Ward

View from our room in the homestay on the photo. (They don't provide coffee, I made it by myself using my travel aeropress kit). The hotel is located quite close to the city center, within 5 minutes of walking you can get to the sunworld cable car station and the church. The service is not that great. The receptionist was giving a lot of attitude especially towards my wife. If you rent the bike from the property, keep in mind, you can get the bike for half a day for 70 k(from 12 to 6 pm), they even have a sign at the reception, but the receptionist magically forgets about it. Big rooms, big bathroom, very nice room but a few issues. Cleanliness was abit poor, lots of dust in places, only the obvious parts had been cleaned but not to a high standard. WiFi didn’t reach our room at all. Hot water ran out really fast so had to have a couple of ice cold showers. Air conditioning filter had clearly never been cleaned. Abit of a draft coming through the door so we had to always have the A/C heat on full to keep warm. When checking in, I got a whole lecture on how to book on Agoda and the hotel eventually cancelled my booking on Agoda even though I checked in and paid. They helped us rent a motorbike on the 1st day but they eventually charged us higher than their stated price list. I noticed only on the next day but they just gave out excuses and not deducting any money.

The room was okay, spacious with all glasses windows that allow you to have a good view. However, the bathroom has smell from the bad sewage system.
