Myself and a party of 13 stopped at this hotel for two nights in August 2025. It is in a great location, but opposite the hotel is another single story building being built, which may or may not belong to the hotel itself, but the location of the new building blocks the beautiful view over the valley, at least for guests stopping in rooms on the first two floors. The draw for all of us to book this hotel was the roof top pool, which offers stunning views. The only criticism of the roof top pool is the lack of anywhere to sit or lay out in the sun. There is two sun loungers & one setter type item without any padding/cushions. There is also nowhere to hang towels etc. Towels are supplied by the hotel, along with lockers for valuables while you are at the pool. The other issue with the pool is the immediate area outside the lift. People come from the pool & don't dry off properly, so there is layer of water on the steps down to the lift area & a member of our party fell down the stairs as it is so very slippery. Breakfast was included & while I accept the hotel cannot cater for all tastes, I wish there had been more fresh fruit other than just water melon. The location is great, but if you want to walk into the town area, one option is to climb a large number of steps on a very steep incline. You could argue that due to the inexpensive option of getting a Grab Taxi to the town, that might be the better option, but the stairs are a challenge - going up and coming down. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. We hired a motorbike for an afternoon to see more of the local area. The bike was adequate but let's just say there was a 'relaxed' approach to roadworthiness of the bike & any associated insurance, so hire at...
Read moreWe just came from this hotel. Our family booked 2 rooms for a two-night stay. We discovered a pair of used underwear and a pair of shorts under the sofa in our room, apparently from a previous guest. The room should have been cleaned thoroughly for a new guest. Obviously it was not.
On our second night, the aircon conked out. We were made to tranfer from 304 to 208 well past midnight. The aircon was working but there was a pair of used swim trunks from a previous guest in the balcony.
We also asked for our 2 rooms to be cleaned on our 2nd day. We came back to our rooms in the evening and found them not cleaned at all.
Very poor service.
As I was checking out today (28 March, 1PM) with my wife...the young lady at the reception did not even greet us. Not even when I said Xin Chao to her and Cam On. It was as if she heard nothing.
And no apologies for what happened with the aircon, our uncleaned rooms with used clothes, our being made to transfer past midnight. No apologies. No nothing.
Never again.
Only Linh of the staff is friendly.
We also ate dinner here on our first night. It was just OK. Breakfast was also just passable.
Never again.
I bet we can find much better...
