Update: sorry if this is late, but it is only fair that i post what happened during the second half of our stay at Ramada Yerevan. The manager on duty was Vahe (i think that's how his name is spelled) came around after being notified what had happened with our booking. He took the initiative to sort out the rooms and eventually found a triple room (suite) for us, considering how the other staff couldn't be bothered to do anything other than deflect the issue. Vahe also took the time to explain and apologize for the mix up (on behalf of the staff), and chatted with us. Reflecting back, I'll say the service is good, but perhaps some junior staff needs to learn how to take initiative to fix problems, instead of leaving it to the colleagues on next work shift to bear the burden of figuring out what to do. We commend Vahe for taking responsibility and helping us out even though our stay at Ramada was only 2 nights. If we do plan another trip to Armenia, we will consider booking with Ramada again. [Only after the whole trip, that we discovered was the unclear instructions from the side of the booking agency (silk road armenia) that led to this.]
Experience of what happened here: 2 nights' stay. Facilities was ok. Hotel is inconveniently located. Hospitality/service of hotel staff is sub par. We booked a triple room and got a very small twin room with no 3rd bed...informed hotel staff, they were resistant to hearing us out and argued, said they can switch our rooms but they'll charge us more. Like how did this happen since we booked a triple room and agree to pay for it?? Then, they switched our rooms to a real "triple room", BUT it did not have a 3rd bed. They rectified it by wrapping bedsheets on the small narrow sofa (not proper sofa bed). Also, we needed help with dragging luggages to the hotel, had informed them in advance, but when the porter came, he only stood there arguing with our driver and we had to struggle with our luggages all the way to the hotel (in our group we have elderly travellers). Tip for other travellers: moderate expectations - service standard across different Ramada hotels vary greatly. Also, upon check-in if they ask for passports to be photocopied for records, the staff were not careful and forgot to return 1 of our...
Read moreMy stay at Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Yerevan was truly exceptional! The hotel's prime location provided the perfect blend of convenience and accessibility, allowing me to effortlessly explore the city's attractions. What truly stood out, however, was the warm hospitality extended by the staff - their friendly demeanor and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. The breakfast experience was a highlight of my stay, with a delectable spread of dishes that catered to diverse tastes. The presentation was lovely, adding a touch of elegance to the morning meal. What impressed me most, though, was the outstanding service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless and efficient, with the staff handling everything with ease. Similarly, the check-out process was hassle-free, with no unnecessary delays or complications. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive, responsive, and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet my needs and exceed my expectations. They even took care of charging our mobiles, which was a thoughtful touch - thank you to the staff for that! I also appreciated the wonderful display of jewellery in the lobby, it was beautifully done. And what added to the charm was watching the carpet making, it was a pleasure to see the artisans at work. Their dedication to delivering exceptional service and the hotel's unique touches significantly enhanced my overall experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Yerevan to anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient, and memorable...

The location deserves a special mention as well. Situated right in the city center, Ramada is just a stone’s throw away from Republic Square, surrounded by numerous eateries and shopping centers. This convenience made exploring the city a breeze and added to the enjoyment of our trip.
The breakfast at Ramada was a particular highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit everyone’s taste. Whether you prefer a hearty meal to kick-start your day or a lighter option, the breakfast spread was both satisfying and impressive.
A special mention must be made of Anil Sampat, the new General Manager, who joined the Ramada team during our stay. His presence was immediately felt, as he went out of his way to ensure that we felt privileged and cared for every single day. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction made a significant difference in our experience.
