We have been here twice during our 5 days duration and can not help but say how pathetic service they have. I stay in Dubai and and for me, customer service is the most valued trait you need to have to run a business.
Our 2nd visit to them was on 31st night when it was already past 12, i.e., we were already in New Year. We went inside and sat on a table, placing order with waiter. After 5-7 mins, the manager himself came to say that the table was reserved for someone else, and we must leave that table immediately. We were in a shock that who shoves off customer after sitting on a table? What sort of a crooked system you have to not inform that before sitting? And the manager was not even nice to us saying at least 1 sorry once - he just threw a line for us to leave that table and left. Unprofessional, no empathy, no respect to customer's time, no sense of customer emotion, and how to make them sticky to business.
We sat in another table for 41 mins (yes, I counted every min), and that table where he shoved us from, was empty and unoccupied the full time. None came.
Such a pathetic customer service - even though you have reservation, you should make sure to inform customers way in advance so none enters that territory or you let them sit & inform that they can sit till X time (till they reserved party arrives)
We ordered for hazelnut bliss latte. The hazelnut used in the coffee was so old and rotten that the entire coffee was smelling pungent, and we could not drink more than 3 sips. We informed the waiter, she said "once served, cannot be replaced. That's what we have to drink." We asked to call the manager, the manager again understands 30% English and said they cannot change. We were feeling pukish and the coffee was smelling rotten, we requested again to change and he agreed to. He asked one other guy from counter to replace with another coffee. We waited for 15mins at the table, they never served the replacement. We called them if it will take longer and they informed they did not start to prepare it. That moment for a customer, is really a dead moment and you lost your business dear. Had it been in Dubai, your business would have been shut by now for this atrocious behaviour and negligence. The arrogance towards customers is not gonna run well for long. I can't believe you neglected your wrongdoing for 15 mins and did not even apologise once.
I hope God bless you because surely this kind of service is not gonna be liked by customers. You will shut down soon if you don't change your behaviour and enhance your customer service by...
Read moreRead moreDa most expensive coffee.... Stopped by for a breakfast, the place was beautiful and inviting, but after seeing that some were smoking inside and the place was full of smoke, I changed my mind and just asked for 2 cups of American drip coffees to go. Looking into their menu, American coffee was priced at 2,3000AMD. BUT soon discovered that they don’t have the machine and had to do it manually by pouring hot water over the ground coffee in a funnel! Took them about 15 min to make it and guess what it was half the cup that I asked them to make. Long story short, they made more and filled up the cup. Total charge for 2 cups of drip coffee: 6,900AMD $14.52. The night before I had paid 7,200AMD ($15) for a juicy ribeye steak in a high end restaurant. What a rip off for coffee! I don’t recommend...
We came here for omelettes every day while in Yerevan. The bacon and gruyere cheese was very tasty, with a nice bacony flavor in every bite. If you want bread with your eggs, it's extra, but as a diabetic, I rarely have bread anyway so I just skipped it. As for coffee, their Americano was among the BEST I've ever tasted, and the presentation, with the beautiful mug and side of cream on a nice tray, was a nice touch. I also tried the chicken schnitzel with fries and salad, also very good and recommended. The service was always excellent. I can't wait to return to Yerevan and the Coffeeshop Company on Amiryan Street,...
