Los Pueblos Amiryan is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Yerevan, and let me tell you, it's a standout among the culinary scene here. As a food enthusiast, I've dined far and wide, but Los Pueblos Amiryan is truly in a league of its own. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with an ambiance that whispers of authenticity and charm.
But let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with precision and bursting with flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. The presentation? Impeccable. It's clear that the chefs here not only have skill but also a deep passion for their craft.
Listen, I’m an American from Texas. I know Mexican food. This is beyond.
Let's not forget about the staff. They're not just attentive; they're intuitive. It's like they can anticipate your every need before you even know it yourself. From guiding you through the menu to recommending hidden gems, they elevate the dining experience to a whole new level.
Now, let's talk about those shows. They're not just entertainment; they're a journey around the world right from your dinner table. Each performance adds an extra layer of magic to an already unforgettable evening.
And here's a pro tip: make sure to have a word with Arpine, the owner. Sharing your appreciation with her will only enhance your experience and show her the love and admiration she truly deserves.
In a city brimming with dining options, Los Pueblos Amiryan stands tall as a beacon of culinary excellence. Trust me, this is one dining experience you won't...
Read moreI was hesitant to leave this review, but I'm hoping it'll be taken as constructive feedback, and I look forward to trying the place again to be proven wrong. Please note: I only tried the Mexican menu, not the LatAm menu.
As someone who regularly visits Mexico and has just returned from a 2-month trip, I was disappointed to find the food here lacking authenticity. The corn tortillas were cold and undercooked, hence didn't hold well (unacceptable), the lengua and al pastor tacos were tasteless (meat needs more flavour, cooked more authentically, replace romaine lettuce with coriander, etc.). The staple cocktails were okay but could also be improved.
I’d recommend the chefs watch a few YouTube tutorials on tacos from taco stands. No need to complicate dishes that are already recognised and protected by UNESCO. If they aim to create authentic food, strong changes are needed in this restaurant.
On the plus side, the decor is very pleasant with nice outdoor and indoor settings. It’s a good place for group gatherings, parties, and celebrations, with attentive and pleasant service...
Read moreI went to Los Pueblos as soon as they opened at 12pm. I had the quesabirrias and a horchata/corona as my drink. The food was really authentic and it truly felt like true mexican food being thousands of miles away from home. The atmosphere however was really off but that's really only because I'm accustomed mom & pop mexican restaurants. Me being Mexican myself, I truly appreciate the establishment in trying to give the place the mexican feel. The one thing I absolutely didn't like is the music choice. I understand why the restaurant would choose that music, but that music only goes well with cantina like service, which means, it works during the night, but not the day. During the day, the restaurant needs to be playing true mexican music from Luis Miguel and Vicente Fernandez. Heck, add Selena or Bobby Pulido to add a Tex-Mex feel and definitely not that cringe latin pop music that is absolutely in no way, Mexican at all. Good food and good service but the...
