If you’re looking for an evening ruined by arrogance, poor service, and zero respect for guests, Katsin is your perfect match.

We booked well in advance, expecting to enjoy the restaurant’s main selling point – the live show. Instead, the hostess dumped us upstairs in a dead corner with no possible view of the stage. When I pointed out this absurd seating choice, we were told to “wait outside” in the scorching 38°C heat.

Fifteen minutes passed. No one came. No water, no update, no basic human courtesy. When I checked again, the response was a frosty “no tables available.” Translation: we don’t care about you, your reservation, or your evening.

We left, humiliated and furious. Our half-day of preparation, excitement, and anticipation was flushed straight down the drain. This place isn’t a restaurant – it’s a shrine to self-importance, with prices to match and hospitality that’s six feet under.

If you value your time, money, and dignity, do yourself a favor: stay far, far away. Let the snobs enjoy their overpriced...

The food here is was great. The service was absolutely terrible which ruined everything.

First off, I came the day before to make reservations. When we arrived, they looked confused and just told us to sit anywhere.

During our order, I was told not to order what I wanted as if I couldn't afford it. So I shut up, but then spoke up when my waiter was ringing up our ticket. He then told me no like I couldn't afford it. Several of the things I wanted weren't available. Nothing was 86'ed on the menu prior to it being handed to us.

During service, whenever I tried to serve myself, the servers wouldn't allow me to. They put salad on my plate, etc... however when it came to my wife; no such service. They kept trying to talk to her only in Russian instead of English which was the language we greeted them in and insisted in speaking in.
