i was honestly disappointed with this hotel, considering the cost you would hope the rooms themselves would be clean and things to work as they should. our first night there after using the aircon we noticed it was leaking water, upon further investigation we realised the filter was caked with mould (pictures provided) after asking the staff what could be done as a solution they offered to clean it but questioned why we didn’t just do that ourselves and said that people don’t often check the filters. this should not matter, the health of your guest should be a priority and things like this should be cleaned so your guest aren’t ingesting mould, it should additionally not be expected that your guest should be the ones to clean and service your aircons. in addition to this multiple things in this hotel did not work, this included the light in the bedroom, the tv, the wifi and the key fob. our second night we were locked out of the hotel as our key fob did not work, the intercom did not work either so i had to make some phone calls to get into the hotel. during the process of checking out staff were rude and condescending, they were unwilling to rectify the situation or listen to any feedback the staffs response was disappointing and the mould issue was clearly disregarded, this was not a case of a dirty aircon, this was a health hazard and should be...

Read moreLocation - absolutely fantastic. Directly opposite the beach and just a short walk from shops and dining options.||Amenities - pool area was great, and kids loved the mini tennis court too. Unfortunately the site wasn't secure as the side gate leading to the street wouldn't lock shut, meaning anyone could enter, and small kids could escape.||Apartment (no 1 on ground floor) - having direct access to the pool area was fantastic. However the apartment itself was a little worn, and not particularly clean, having to wipe drawers before using them - don't move any furniture, it's pretty grim under there. Lots of plumbing kind of noises from pipes behind walls, and noisy early morning (pre 7am) due to garden tidy up right outside. No basic pantry items, only 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 sachet of washing up liquid and washing powder (family of 5 staying 5 nights).||Most disappointing part of the stay was the large scale construction works (24 levels) going on right next door at 118 Old Burleigh Road. Construction noise from 6am, jack hammering from 7am and continuing throughout the day. |Would have been nice to have been warned about this construction work at the time of booking, or at least prior to arrival, so I could make an informed choice whether to stay or not.||Construction isn't due to be completed until July 2027, doubt we would return whilst that...
