👻🎃 This was my first ever escape room, and oh boy did I enjoy it immensely. There are 3 games to choose from, and my group got the After Midnight one, which was of medium difficulty and scariness. The design of the room and the puzzles was top notch. The puzzles really forced us to think outside the box and find the clues hidden among the objects in the room to unlock the door to the next room. We took a little over an hour, party confounded by the timer in our game stopping at 54:59, which wasn't a big deal. The second room took the longest time, and was so satisfying. The third room was very well designed as well. The story in our game was to get to the bottom of a murdered actress, and we did reach the bottom of it all. Completing the game was indeed satisfying. The staff were friendly, and there's also a cute dog who loves the guests! Since no cell phones were allowed inside the rooms, there's nothing to show, which is actually good, because these rooms need to be experienced without any ideas beforehand. We went in a group, and each group had about 7 members, which is kinda necessary given the scope of the tasks. Overall, it's a fun way to spend time with friends while exercising the brain!

I recently had an amazing experience at Lost in Melbourne escape rooms! 🕯️ We tackled the Annabelle themed room with a group of friends, and it was perfect for a thrilling double date. The room itself lived up to its reputation – spooky and exhilarating! The puzzles were challenging and kept us engaged from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall enjoyment of our experience. We're already planning our return to try out the other rooms! If you're looking for a fun and adrenaline-pumping activity in Melbourne, Lost in Melbourne escape rooms are definitely worth a visit.

SO SO MUCH FUN! It was our first time doing an escape room! You're not allowed your phone in the rooms for obvious reasons so couldnt take more photos. We did the Before midnight room and although the challenges were a little difficult it was great that we could recieve hints! Some of the locks were on backwards which killed most of our time and the laser in the last room didnt work either. Apart from that, it was a great experience

Really good escape room, just a few things that staff really need to disclose and reconsider.

We did Before Midnight, which had a perfect spooky eerie vibe and was super enjoyable. However, I've got three issues:

This issue is vague to avoid spoilers, but there is one aspect that requires ALL players lie down in a very dark, very small enclosed area. This is admittedly for a very brief period of time, but this will absolutely set off claustrophobia but there is no way to advance through the room otherwise. As someone with taphophobia, this part left me feeling ill for the rest of the room.

There is one object that is integral to solving a puzzle. Ideally, this object is held at shoulder height, but it easily weighs a few kilos if not more. This doesn't sound overly heavy, but it creates a strain on your body pretty quickly. There is absolutely no reason why this prop couldn't be swapped out with something that only weighs a couple hundred grams instead.

Lastly, this one isn't a BIG deal but in the last room there's a large prop that falls from the ceiling pretty quickly and only narrowly missed hitting the other person I did the room with. It PROBABLY wouldn't cause too much damage if she had been hit, but it definitely would have stung and could definitely leave bruises. The idea itself is cool, but I wonder if staff can think of a better way of executing this.

Other than these issues, with which the first two could be listed on the website with a warning for claustrophobia and the need for at least one person with decent upper body strength, the room...

Best Escape Room in Melbourne. I've been going on a escape room binge and nothing really topped LOST in Melbourne. The rooms are really immersive, with very creative puzzles that I have not seen at other places. Me and my friends did all three room within 2 weeks, if that says anything.

ROOMS: BEFORE MIDNIGHT: super fun with really fun physical interactions (don't want to spoil to much). My personal favourite room. As it was really just different, cause we went from 'nah we don't do that' to 'no why what?!?'

SURVIVOR: in my opinion the hardest room, super fun. Would reccomend a large group as you'll need the brain power. We struggled the hardest in this room

ANNABELLE: SUPER COOL room, really to theme, a great mix of physical, digital and old fashion puzzles. Get you to think outside of he box. The most memorable room by far. We were talking about this for days after!! So many 'ohhhh' and 'omg' moments.

We escaped all the rooms!!! hehehe

Only feedback is that i wish they blindfolded us before entering the rooms, to enhance the effect of us getting teleported that moment in time. And that the storyline/introduction being done before entering or when we are still blindfolded while in the room. No star deductions, just something i feel would enhance the experience.

I look forward to when they have a new room in...
