This small family run eatery is the best restaurant me and my partner have eaten at during our entire 7 days in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It sits quietly outside the main tourist routes but serves food that warms the cockles of our heart.
The grilled calamari was extremely fresh and tender. The Mućkalica, a stew made of barbecued meat and vegetables, was comforting and came piping hot. We also had the delicious Salma, leaves rolled around a filling of minced meat and grains. This restaurant also serves the local beer Mostarsko in draft. An additional plus for those looking for cold beer in the summer!
Best of all, the older gentleman running the place is extremely kind and friendly. He gives off a warm grandpa vibe and welcomes you with open arms. The restaurant is also located right beside the scenic and smaller crooked bridge, the underrated bridge in my opinion.

The Bosnian mixed plate offered a mere two pieces of dolma, and some grilled meats with rice and salad. I wouldn’t pay 18KM for this dish, perhaps another two pieces of dolma would’ve made it worth ordering. We had to place a second order of Mostarian dolma which was much more delectable.
Overall, a decent experience but perhaps will eat...
