Central Park Jardins — Hotel in Região Imediata de São Paulo

Located in the neighborhood of Jardins, an upscale, fancy area of São Paulo. The street itself is pretty quiet which is nice. And within walking distance you’ll find yourself in a bustling area of restaurants, shops and museums. ||Central Park Flat has all the exterior looks: modern, nice lobby/reception, valet parking, doorman. |It’s also a residential flat: people live here. |But it became clear pretty quick that looks can be deceiving:|1) Arriving in our room the light didn’t work (no one checked that during the last clean up?) So we already immediately had to request maintenance, which came within 15 minutes. Great service on that. |2) the room was not meant for 3 people, even when that is what we booked for. The 3rd bed looked like a hospital bed. And was placed in the room where it didn’t really fit: in front of the balcony doors. But there wasn’t really anywhere else it could go either. The couch should have been a sofa-bed. |3) The double bed in between the wall and wardrobe was also less than ideal as there’s barely any space to comfortably pass next to it (am I to assume you’re supposed to crawl in from the feet end?), and only 1 side gets a side table, with 1 wall socket. |4) The kitchenette came with a mini fridge and microwave, and 2 sets of dinner plates and cutlery. Another indicator that this was not meant to be a 3 person room, even when the booking said so and they should have prepared for that. But I don’t think this room is usually booked for 3 people. Hence the removable hospital-like bed that damages the floor. |5) The bathroom mirror had a large internal damage on it that kinda blocked some visual. |6) The WiFi was spotty in the room, better by the door. The network is open and unprotected which personally I find a bit odd especially in this day and age? |7) Breakfast has a lot of options but at the same time is very limited: like a lot of bread and sweets, but no yogurt of any kind. There is cereal which I guess we are to put in milk instead. Cheese and ham, but no white meat option. There are no tags explaining what is what which would be helpful honestly. I’m guessing no gluten free options for those wanting… ||All in all, it’s not a bad place to stay. Not at all. But I wouldn’t call it more than average, and I’ve had average that were better honestly. ||While it looks like 5 stars, it ended up being an average 3 star stay for us. |They do have a very nice pool, and that was the best thing...

The rooms are in big disrepair and the cleanliness is far from acceptable. One of the beds linen had pubic hair all over (see photo). That was the 2nd rooms they tried to transfer us too. We only stayed because it was very late at night. They showed us 4 rooms until we could find a reasonable one. Room 1 had a ripped floor plank sticking out you could trip over anytime. The PLASTIC toilet seat was so cheap that was cracked broke. Room 2 had pubic hair all over the bed linen and the carpet inside the closet was very dirty and old. It hadn’t seen vacumm in years. Room 3 the closet was unusable. The sliding doors were broken, falling off the door rail. Big chunks of dust all over. Toilet flush issues Room 4 – partially clogged sink and shower slowing the water drainage. The glass had lip marks on it. Please don’t stay in this hotel if you want a clean, headache free stay.

Os quartos estão em grande ruína e a limpeza está longe de ser aceitável. Uma das roupas de cama tinha pêlos pubianos todo (ver foto). Que foi o segundo quartos que tentaram nos transferir também. Nós só ficamos porque era muito tarde da noite. Eles nos mostraram 4 quartos até que pudéssemos encontrar um razoável. Sala 1 tinha uma tábua de piso danificado e resaltado com risco de acidente e poderiamos tropeçar a qualquer momento. O assento de toalete PLASTIC era tão barato que estava rachado quebrado. Quarto 2 teve pêlos púbicos por toda a roupa de cama e o carpet dentro do closet estava muito suja e antiga. Não foi aspirado a anos. Sala 3 o armário estava inutilizável. As portas de correr estavam quebradas, caindo do corrimão da porta. Grandes pedaços de poeira por toda parte. The hotel presented a stark contrast between its few highs and numerous, unacceptable lows. While the breakfast delighted, the gym impressed, and the views captivated, these positives were utterly overshadowed by the dismal state of the accommodations.

The room was a severe letdown, illuminated by two harsh, oversized lights, devoid of the softer touch of lamps, and marred by visible cracks in the bathroom tiles. Yet, these flaws paled in comparison to the intolerable construction noise that invaded our space without warning. This disturbance, only disclosed after a night's stay and booking, rendered the room uninhabitable between 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays, forcing us to flee to another hotel for sanctuary. Despite the commendable responsiveness of the staff in facilitating our refund, the experience was marred by the outdated and poorly maintained rooms.
