I cannot recommend Le Vert Angkor Hotel highly enough! From the moment we began planning our trip, the hotel manager, Simon, was an absolute treasure. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly was evident every step of the way. Planning a trip for 31 people could’ve easily turned chaotic, but thanks to Simon, the entire experience was seamless and efficient. He helped with everything from restaurant bookings and tours to transfers, making sure that we didn’t waste a single minute of our time.
The hotel itself is ideally located in Siem Reap—close to the markets for easy access to shopping and exploring, yet still peacefully quiet at night for a restful stay. I stayed in a room that was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and though there were some minor issues with the AC in a few rooms, it was resolved immediately by the staff, which really speaks to their excellent customer service.
I was also so impressed by the staff at Le Vert Angkor. Every single member of the team was not only professional but also incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and it made our stay all the more special.
Our time at Le Vert Angkor was truly memorable and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap. If you’re looking for a place that offers fantastic service, a perfect location, and a team that genuinely cares about making your stay exceptional, this is the hotel for you.
A big thank you to Simon and his wonderful team for making this trip one...

THE GOOD
Hotel staff are just lovely, so friendly and always smiling
Rooms large and extremely comfortable bed, linen good, towels ok, water each day, plenty of hanging space, well designed rooms
Pool small but often only ones there, really lovely and good view over town, small but very functional
Quiet position, occasional party noise from backpackers next door partying, but overall quiet location, suggest back rooms away from street as would be noisy at 4.45-5.00am with lots of tuktuks and cars arriving to take people to sunrise at Angkor Watt.
THE NOT SO GOOD
Had a "never do" moment one night. We were in bed watching tv, hotel reception took up guests who forgot key, receptionist got rooms wrong and OPENED our door with her key! We had a do not disturb hanging clearly on outside. No knock, nothing. Then proceeded to apologize so many times standing with door completely open. Then another phone call 3 minutes later. Yes a mistake, but inexcusable.
One pool attendant had to be woken one day when we asked for drinks, didnt put out towels.
Once friends in other room did not get room serviced having been out all day and having please make up room on door. Man on desk upon return said staff gone home, had to ask to please at least supply dry fresh towels, he was totally unfussed the room was ignored and not cleaned.
Front rooms get very very weak wifi, moved to rear rooms where it...
Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. It’s a pretty basic hotel overall, but the staff is very friendly, our room was a good size and it’s in a great location. They also were super helpful in organizing our pick up & drop off at the airport and the Angkor wat tour. We want to give a shoutout to Tevy and Lucky (our tuk tuk driver and guide) who showed us Angkor at sunrise and everything went so smoothly. Lucky was a super informative guide and also took the best pictures of us. Would highly recommend! I also want to give another shoutout to our driver who picked us up at the airport (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) - he basically gave us a full rundown of Cambodia, its history, etc on the way into town! ||Some things to be aware of: as I said, it’s still a pretty basic hotel. There was an open hole next to the shower and some of the wall came down a bit in the bathroom. While there is AC in the room, it doesn’t cool down the room properly - it might get it to 25C or so even though it’s set to 16C, but it was better than no AC! The pool loungers are made out of plastic so they’re not very comfortable to lay on in the sun and the towels are too small to fully cover them. While the staff is trying to be super helpful sometimes there were some communication challenges because of the language. ||Overall we had a great experience especially given the very affordable price point and would recommend if you’re not looking for a...
