Whilst autocorrect would suggest that I call this hotel the Neak Peanut, this establishment is no run-of-the-mill legume. Planted squarely in the middle of Siem Reap, many of your needs will be within walking distance, and the rest just a short Tuk Tuk or tractor ride away. Indeed, Brown Coffee is barely two minutes walk away and offers a quality version of your favourite coffee bean derived beverage. The rooms are very easy on the eye, with nice walnut coloured wooden walls and full of mod-cons like Air-con, mini fridge and television. The bathrooms are well maintained, spacious and accessable via a door, meaning you won't have to pea your pants. The only negative is no mosquito nets for the beds and no mesh on the vents in the bathroom, which is a little disappointing, considering the cashew paid. The decent size pool is a nice addition that will allow you to irrigate yourself after a long day of temple visiting, and overall the place is cloverly laid out as a relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of the small city. Whilst 2016, the Year of the Pulse, might be nearly over, the amount of shopping, history and culture on offer here is bound to get your blood pumping. It might seem I have a nitrogen fixation on these puns, but honestly, you'd be nuts not to stay here.

Not so bad with the room. There's also a swimming pool. But internet connection at night time was really bad.

I went here with my mum and grown up daughter so we stayed in a 3 bed room with breakfast included. Excellent value for money. Our room had no walk out private balcony/veranda but there was a lovely seating area just outside of our room do we used that as our own. Housekeeping came everyday, and considering the masses of mosquitos everywhere day and night, and how the little creatures love a nibble on me,they did a remarkable job at keeping the room almost a totally mozzi free zone.||The hotel was very well located within walking distance of the river, the day and night markets, several Pagodas, Pub Street etc. ||The pool was a god send at the end of a full day out exploring. The area was kept clean and pool towels provided. Not many sun loungers but what was there was comfortable.||The staff have been lovely, helpful and so very cheerful all of the time. ||I definitely recommend Siem Reap as a place to visit and this hotel is an ideal...
