This is a review of Calgary City Planning Group. People working there are generally very good and responsive, but the system they administer is a total sham. It's founded on the concept of pretending to "engage" with communities while allowing developers to overrun our communities with building and density out of place. Be very very aware that when the city posts a sign stating that an application for a land use change is coming.... you must get involved at that point and rally your neighbourhood to hold proposes development to an appropriate level. And dont expect the city to help... make no mistake they are there to help the developer not the neighbours.

Built in 1911, Historic Calgary City Hall is a beautifully preserved sandstone landmark in the heart of downtown. A designated National Historic Site, this iconic building showcases Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, complete with a striking clock tower and intricate stonework. Once the center of Calgary’s municipal government, it now stands as a symbol of the city’s rich history and resilience. Located next to the modern Municipal Building, it’s a must-see for history enthusiasts and architecture lovers exploring Calgary.

Local Calgary headquarter, grand place to see city history pictures, easy access to local elected councilors, all city related local permits can be obtained from this office such as construction, design or businesses, majority of permit offices are on the 2nd floor. North side of the building is the transit LRT station (city hall) so any one can get here via public Transit. The City Corporate Security Office is also in this building.

So you've decided protesting should be prevented huh? It's damaging? Thr right to freedom of assembly is damaging? What's truly damaging is spineless useless political "leaders" who have absolutely no integrity and will walk all over someone's freedoms and rights.. what will you tell your children if they ever feel they need to protest? "Sorry but mommy and daddy made that illegal.. we protected you by removing your opportunity to use your voice" You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.. you should all be fired.everyone who helped push this.. youre a disgrace to the country and remind you to look forward to the day you face the wrath of God. The country and your children and your children's children will forever be...

Bad people here, literally no one has morals. A few weeks ago, a group of masked men dressed in black, and what seems to be their leader is in the middle. The leader was masked wearing a Biker helmet and a Gremlin costume with big large toe ankle biting grippers as his shoes. It was so disgusting. Anyway, they came up to me in an alleyway (where i take shortcuts) and harassed me. These silly ohio creatures man. They started saying some type of cult ritual thing to me and they repeated their leader. After that, they started coming at me then started playing a Taylor swift song and acted out their whole dance to me. This was sooooo not it. The taylor swift and the ritual sayings?? it was so BAD and utmost creepy thing i’ve ever...
