La Floresta — Hotel in Providencia

I felt immediately welcomed upon arrival. The vibe is relaxing, and the back garden allows for a swim on hot days and plenty of room to sit and relax outside. Wifi for myself personally (I’ve been on multiple floors) was never an issue in my room. The area has everything needed, and really feeling safe with the security of the hotel but in general, the location caused no negative feelings walking home. I would and have returned here.

I am an 28yr old male and enjoyed the simplicity of the rooms. It’s a bed, fan, large windows, curtains and general ; completely ticks all the boxes concerning the price range . The bathrooms are useable and work, you’re sharing bathrooms but have you’re own space, only 1 person at a time. There are 3 in total so I’ve never had an experience where atleast one of them wasn’t available.

Some things that could be improved are the showers, it does the job but can sometimes be impacted by water usage of others.

A place that seems was good once, but is now slowly deteriorating.

The place looks old and is in need of renovation. Advertising a pool, but the pool is dirty full of algea, unswimmable. Barely a working shower (common shower). A toilet of which all lids keep falling down. Bed mattrass that bends through. Slightly dirty floor in the room.

Positives are that the bed sheets are at least clean (which is kind of mandatory), that the location is good and it is kind of a low price (about 50 usd) considering all the other prices in Santiago. Pay 25 USD more and you get something much nicer though.
