Hostal Anpaymi Atacama — Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

Highly recommend staying at Hostal Anpaymi for your stay in San Pedro de Atacama! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with open arms by the owner and her adorable doggo, Nube.

The room and common areas were clean and well maintained. The owner and staff were around and attentive for any issues that arrived. Despite the heat, my room remained cool throughout the day.

The little extra things made my experience 10/10 like providing a pool towel for my trip to the lagoons, food recommendations, earplugs at the bedside, providing insight about what clothing to bring for each excursion, and being available at all hours (including a 5am pickup and a 12am drop off).

The hostal is a bit off the main road (approx 10 minute walk from the central square), but has many restaurants and kiosks right next door. Wifi worked well, shower pressure was great, water was a perfect temperature, and a strong fan is provided in the room in case it gets too warm.

Located south of the centre of town, a mere 10-12-min walk from the main street, this hotel is an oasis. We spent three nights here, making it our base to explore the Atacama Desert. After long, dusty days, we enjoyed coming back to our clean rooms and the hotel’s calm courtyard, where you can relax - away from the hustle and bustle of the road outside. There is a convenience shop opposite, from where you can buy drinks, fruits, snacks and other necessities. 😊: Our stay at Hostel Anpaymi was fantastic, it was perfect for our trip. The hostel is clean, comfortable and quiet, and a short and easy walk to the centre of San Pedro. The owner is outstanding - she was welcoming and friendly, and could not do enough to help us.
