Bad start and finish, good in the middle.

A combination of cafe and a casual shop for Japan inspired lifestyle goods.

Great atmosphere, decent food, choices were limited but each has its own surprises which was better than expected.

Went on a Sunday afternoon without booking, entrance through a lift to the 1st floor consists of a narrow corridor of lifestyle goods.

Greeted by the staff and were told to wait to be served, the layout is designed terribly such that there's no room to wait to be served, ended up two pairs of persons arriving cutting in front of us to get served. Regardless of whether those two had reservation or not (not verified for those two pairs of guests), if you have spaces available you do not tell customers who first got here to wait while serving others.

The food is pretty good, set meals are better value than Al la cart, tea set menu is great value. The summer speciality drink is nice with cool jelly in a soda.

Upon settling the bill at the entrance, I was told by dining there we're entitled for a one off $x on purchases at the store. I felt misinformed about this particular part, on the requirements to entitled to discount and the discounted amounts, staff was polite but did not say the above clearly. Both me and my wife heard and understood differently to what actually was, made me felt like I bought something not needed for and did not get to enjoy any discount. Left with a bad experience at the end. A shame to the otherwise decent visit.

Recommend not take any additional offers and just pay for the bill and leave.

P. S. The pos system to find our bill and buy two items took more than 20 clicks on the ipad, something to be...

Grandmama Cafe is a Japanese style cafe in Tsim Sha Tsui, I really like their homey design and food menu with so many different choices of food!

I opted for 3 deli set to save space for dessert and a special drink.

Everything on the menu looks so good! I took some time to figure out what to try first, and ended up getting Chicken Roll with Pirate Sauce (cold), Potato Salad (cold), and Spicy Mentaiko Tsubasa (hot), with a Mentaiko Mount Fuji Onigiri.

The Chicken Roll with Pirate Sauce was not quite what I expected, but the thin slices of cold cut chicken slides were very smooth and tender. The pirate sauce made great dressing.

The Potato Salad got my heart. How could Japanese style potato salad taste so good?!

As for the Spicy Mentaiko Tsubasa, nothing can go wrong for mentaiko and fried chicken wing! The spicy mentaiko made superb stuffing in this little chicken wing.

The Mentaiko Mount Fuji Onigiri was superb too! It’s all about the magically delicious mentaiko! It really tasted as good as it looked. Surprise surprise!

There is no reason not to try out this lovely and delicious limited special drink Mount Fuji. It’s a beautiful and tasty white chocolate drink. The white chocolate flavor was so rich, yet it’s not overly sweet. Very enjoyable indeed!

By this time, I can associate Grandmama Cafe with beautiful and tasty Mount Fuji food item. This Okinawa Sea Salt Mount Fuji is no different. The scope of blue vanilla ice cream was ordinary yet yummy, and the star is definitely the spongy Mount Fuji cake with salted cream topping.

My mouth is watering typing out this review. Definitely will...

Dinner with friend in Tsim Sha Tsui. He chose this one cafe, and I had looked at the menu. There were not many types of meals, then I think that will should be ok. Can using the QR to order, pictures in menu are relatively complete, you can see the around outlook, which is very convenient.

For main course, we had chosen pork belly and beef tongue, which were very average and the meat was a bit old. The Aka FUJI rice balls were not very tasty, and the Sakura shrimp rice was average. It would be better if there was more sauce. For the special drink, I chose the purple one, which was okay. For dessert, I chose milk pudding, which was pretty good.

The decor is nice and the food presentation is pretty good. It's a good place if you come here to photo, but the food is really average. The price is slightly expensive.

At the entrance, there are also some boutiques available for purchase.

The service was great, but they spoke super fast and it was hard to hear what the clerk was saying.

Even though the restaurant is on the third floor and there is a lift, the entrance of the place is accessible and...
