Marina Phantom Apartment Hotel — Hotel in Taipa

My recent stay at the Marina Phantom Apartment Hotel presented a mixed bag of experiences. While the location was undeniably convenient, a strong smell of cigarette smoke lingered in my non-smoking room. The hotel room cigarette smells were so bad even our clothes stinks so bad that when we opened our luggages in Hong Kong the cigarette smokes actually purged out.

Secondly, some employees displayed a distinct lack of politeness and professionalism. For example, employees at the conceige are unhelpful and claimed my hotel booking is only 1 night even I showed them my Agoda booking was for 3 nights and they made me queue daily to update my room card. Also, the staff at the door does not help us to look out for taxi or help us call for a cab. We have to stand outside the sun to call or wait for a cab. If you are not alert the cab might be snatched by other hotel guests.

These issues significantly impacted the overall experience, making it difficult to recommend without improvements in cleanliness and staff training. Even though it's location is convenient, I wouldn't stay in this hotel anymore because I don't...

Room was nice. Liked the layout of the room. However, several unpleasant experiences due to other guests or resident staying in the hotel. On our same floor, there were guests who did not close the door while sleeping, there were people who opened doors who speak and laugh loudly, guests cooking with doors opened thus triggering fire alarms etc. It may be something coincidental, however it affected my stay. In summary, the rooms are just not well ventilated enough to cause issues like this. It gave me the impression that I am staying in a backpacker hostel. As I did not like the environment, I requested for a refund for my unused night with the hotel, requested via trip.com, unfortunately the hotel did not agree to my request. Location wise, as I was going to Venetian for an event, it was well located for the budget. 19 min walk. Hotel is opp Hotel Okura. Take shuttle bus to Galaxy Macau from Taipa ferry terminal / Airport. There's no traffic light. If you walk across the road, you will reach the hotel faster. Due to some road works, you may need to use Broadway macau linkway to reach hotel. Too comfortable till forget to take pictures of the room. It's the same as per hotel's description. With 2 TVs , 2 bed, 2 aircon thermostat and many more. A small kitchen area with pans and plates. Maybe it's good for those who need to stay long. A good size washroom with powerful water pressure. Need to tap access card in lift to room. Broadway foodstreet just 5 mins walk from hotel. A convenience store (not 24hr) at foodstreet. Deposit 500 (MOP/HKD/RMB) all accepted.
