Broadway Hotel Macau: A Memorable Stay in the Heart of Macau
During my recent visit to Macau, I had the pleasure of staying at Broadway Hotel, and I must say it was a delightful experience overall. Nestled in the heart of the vibrant Cotai Strip, the hotel offers a convenient location, modern amenities, and a touch of artistic flair that sets it apart.
First and foremost, the location of Broadway Hotel is superb. Situated within the Broadway Macau complex, it provides easy access to a wide range of entertainment options, including theaters, shopping malls, and dining establishments. The hotel's proximity to major attractions and the bustling Cotai area makes it an excellent base for exploring the city and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.
The hotel rooms are modern, comfortable, and well-appointed. The tasteful decor and thoughtful design create a cozy and relaxing ambiance, ensuring a restful stay. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are equipped with all the essential amenities one would expect from a quality hotel. However, it's worth noting that the room size may be slightly smaller compared to some other hotels in the area.
The hotel staff were friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist. From check-in to check-out, the service provided by the staff was professional and efficient. They were knowledgeable about the local area and offered helpful recommendations for dining and entertainment options. Any requests or inquiries were promptly attended to, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Broadway Hotel offers several dining options, ranging from casual eateries to fine dining establishments. The variety of cuisines cater to different tastes and preferences, and the food quality is generally good. However, for those seeking a wider selection or a more immersive gourmet experience, it might be worth exploring the numerous dining options available in the surrounding area.
One of the highlights of Broadway Hotel is the entertainment and shopping options within the Broadway Macau complex. From live performances and concerts to retail therapy, there's plenty to keep guests entertained without needing to venture far. The lively atmosphere and artistic elements add an extra touch of charm to the overall experience.
While the hotel itself doesn't have a pool or spa facilities, guests have access to the pool and spa amenities at the adjacent JW Marriott Hotel Macau. This arrangement allows for relaxation and rejuvenation, although it requires a short walk to access these facilities.
In summary, Broadway Hotel Macau offers a pleasant and comfortable stay in a prime location. With its convenient proximity to entertainment options, friendly staff, and well-appointed rooms, it provides a solid choice for travelers looking to experience the vibrant Cotai area. While some amenities may be accessed through the neighboring JW Marriott, the hotel's unique artistic ambiance and convenient location make it a worthy option for a memorable...
Read moreFor some reason, my previous review wasn't published, so I'm writing it again. We stayed here in March 2025.
I don't like misleading advertising. There was a poster in the hotel saying that showing your hotel key card at the street food area would get you a discount at all restaurants. We visited two places, and both told us there was no such discount (in one of them, they said the discount was only for hotel staff or something like that). I emailed the hotel about this — they replied asking which room we stayed in, I responded — and then silence.
I also want to mention the “special Visa offer” when booking through the hotel’s official website. It listed water park access as one of the benefits — but in March, the water park was closed for the season! That’s a clear case of false advertising. It also said there would be a 200 MOP discount — but this offer was actually about 200 MOP more expensive than the last-minute deal, which included free breakfast. I assumed the discount would be applied later. But no — it wasn’t. I really feel tricked by this “offer.” If I had booked the last-minute deal instead, it would’ve been cheaper and included breakfast.
As for the Visa “brand gift” — it turned out to be a Barbie keychain and a pair of flip-flops. Not only is that very far from what you'd expect from a “brand gift,” but the flip-flops broke after less than three weeks of use.
So, because of this kind of misleading marketing from the hotel, this is the rating...
Read moreI recently stayed at the Broadway Hotel in Macau, and overall, it was an OK experience, especially considering the value for money. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service from the Ferry Terminal or Airport to the Galaxy Hotel's main lobby, followed by a quick shuttle ride to Broadway, which was quite convenient. It’s also connected to the Galaxy Hotel by a bridge, making it just a 7-10 minute walk if you want to explore the Galaxy’s facilities.
One of the biggest perks was having access to the Galaxy Grand Deck swimming pool. Even after checking out, I could still enjoy the pool, which added a great touch to the stay.
While I could see the effort in providing a good experience, Broadway Hotel doesn’t quite meet 5-star expectations. For example, the bed was uncomfortably hard, which affected my sleep quality. That said, the staff were lovely, especially Reneil, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The check-in team also left a positive impression with their warm welcome.
Another highlight was the lounge area, where you can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks—a nice touch that adds to the value.
Overall, I can’t complain much about my stay. It’s good value for the price, with decent service and access to Galaxy's facilities, but if you’re looking for a true 5-star experience, there are some areas where the hotel...
