If U are paying 800 MOP for this room, then I say its a good choice for a non fussy stayer. ||||Sadly we paid 2400 MOP for a room there and a 5 star stay at Conrads Macau will cost me less so to say I am not happy with the rooms here and the level of service is an understatement.|||| For casino vistors, well, the casino is closed. To non gamblers like me, it is ok. But what is not ok is the room. There is a fridge in the room, but it's locked. I call House keeping to unlock it and was told it cannot be done. This is NEW to me, a fridge for the guest that is locked up. Also, the bathrobes are also locked up so we cannot use it. The best part is our Russian friend who is travelling with us, somehow all these are available to her.... why the differences?????||||another of our travelling mate had her room changed 3 times! The aircon is not working but intially they will not change it til we had to kick a big fuss! ||||Now lets talk about breakfast, its the worse breakfast ever! and kids do not get to eat free, not that we want to eat, but as parents we like to be together with our kids. No selection to speak of and service staff were rude. ||||If ever we are coming to Macau again for competition ( we were recommended this hotel as it was nearest to the pool where our teams are competing) I will NOT TAKE THIS HOTEL for 2000 MOP a night, it is daylight robbery!||||For tourist, dont take this hotel too, its far from all the tourist place. The only plus point, it is near to the airport. There is NO supermarket in walking distance ||||||**insist on non smoking room if u are not a smoker. , even the the non smoking rooms reeks of cigarette smell. level 9 that is the non smoking level, but we moved aournd 8 10 and 11 levels due to team meeting and the smell is...
Read moreThis is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I didn't check the reviews on Google Maps, and I regret it. I should have believed every single bad review here. Please trust me, don't stay here.
First of all, we booked a non-smoking room, but when we got in, it was the most smoke-filled room I've ever stayed in. It smelled so bad that I almost choked. When I asked to change rooms, they brought a refresh spray, which made it even worse.
Secondly, the room is extremely humid. The bed is terrible, with a mattress similar to what you’d find in a very cheap youth hostel. There is a pool that I wanted to swim in, but there was nobody there. No welcoming person, no service person, not even a lifeguard. The whole space was so dark, it looked terrifying. I ended up not going for a swim.
Additionally, there is a casino in the hotel, or maybe it used to be a casino, but it was not in use. For some reason, there was a huge fan sucking air out of that space, making the whole lobby smell extremely bad and unbelievably noisy.
All these aspects make it the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm not even exaggerating.
We stayed in Macau during the rainy season, and it was raining all the time. When we asked the front desk to call us a taxi, they said that because it was raining, there might be no taxis available. And so it was. We tried to catch a taxi in the rain for like 10 or 20 minutes. Meanwhile, taxis were arriving at the hotel. We asked a passenger how they got their taxi, and they said the service person at the front called it for them. We were shocked. People who spoke Cantonese were able to get a taxi, but as foreign travelers, we had no chance. What an unfair service.
In conclusion, this experience was disgusting. Please, take my advice and avoid this hotel...
Read moreThis is the only designated hotel for quarantine in Macau these days ..., because number of cases are close to zero almost every day. ||I prepared my mindset by viewing several videos of this hotel posted by quarantined students and white collars, before my departure from Hong Kong. ||Ok. I know these YouTubers might not have been fancied by the hotel, so I had managed my expectation accordingly. ||I was the only passenger on the cross-border coach when I arrived that day at 11:15am in the Macau end of the giant ZHM bridge. ||After all form-filling, inquiries and nasal mucosa collection, I arrived at the Hotel at 1:15 pm.||Indeed the hotel staff has exceeded my expectation. The check in is efficient with a lady clearly explained to me every quarantine arrangement in the hotel room. ||The guard on the floor where my room situated was polite and brought me lunch box promptly despite my late check-in.||I had ordered for extra distilled water and soda water. The bottles and cans are brought to my door in less than 10 minutes. ||Thanks to the hotel staff who makes the hotel rooms a safe place for quarantine. ||Remark: |24-hour rule applies. If you checked in at 13:00 on a Monday, it is until Monday afternoon in a fortnight that one would be discharged from quarantine. Make sure you note that point for your booking of the leisure hotel right after the quarantine! ||Drink a lot of water during quarantine and choose vegan menu to stay...
