This is my second time staying at the Ritz-Carlton Macau. I had never thought about returning to this hotel due to the unpleasant experience with its duty manager, operator, and engineering depar**ent last time. However, the Ritz-Carlton Macau has a well-known interior design that my partner has long wanted to experience. Therefore, I decided to come back to celebrate one of our special days. I need to admit that, after this second stay, I need to update how I review this hotel.In the review of my first stay, I mentioned that the ladies and gentlemen at the Ritz-Carlton Macau failed on no basic etiquette but rarely helped with passion and temperature. This problem was entirely nonexistent in my second stay. Both my partner and me could always receive help and greetings as warm as the Californian sun. We both felt that we were always surrounded by a sea of professionals who could not be more friendly, genuine, and eager to help. Such warm hospitality is what I can only rarely encounter. For instance, by the time we stepped out from the main elevator, three ladies were already standing by the elevator door to send us the warmest greeting and guide us to the check-in desk.Additionally, when we reported that there was quite an annoying renovation noise in our room, the lady receiving the call seemed even more concerned than I was. Within twenty minutes, she was already guiding us touring two new rooms to choose which one we preferred more. Unfortunately, about two hours after the move, even the new room suffered from the renovation noise. Abbie, the duty manager, immediately came to our room and very kindly helped us move to their Sky Suite, which is usually unavailable to regular guests. Abbie explained she was happy to offer this upgrade because she was sure that room was more noise-proof than my original room type. I am really impressed by how effectively and proactively the ladies and gentlemen of this hotel helped their guests with their concerns. This is for the first time I feel so strongly about the actualization of a goal that many top-tier hotels aim to achieve - guests just need to tell the hotel what they need, then the hotel will handle the rest and present the guests a satisfactory result.I want to especially thanks Melaine. Melaine did not only escort us to our room and introduced different hotel facilities to us; she even personally made so many really heartwarming gifts for us when she knew that we were there for our special day. I used the word "made" because Melaine literally really made that gift by hand! You are such a sweet lady, Melaine. Both of us were and are really touched by everything from you. Read moreEach time we stayed in RC, Macau, we had a wonderful time, and this is why we keep returning to this marvelous hotel over these years. But then we didn’t realize this last time was in fact our 15th stay already until we stepped into our suite and found all the “15th Stay” decorations awaiting us, including the colorful balloons, a bottle of champagne, and the lovely greetings cards from Josephine and Haruka! What a delighted surprise and I was deeply touched! Here’s my BIG thank you to Josephine, Haruka, and the excellent Guest Recognition team (especially to Melanie, Kate and Laura who had helped to make all sorts of arrangements for us even well before our departure from home).
I was grateful to note that this was our 15th Visit. Given that each time we stayed for 3 to 4 nights, we had in fact in total stayed for over 50 nights throughout all these years! The numbers speak for one thing - simply because this wonderful hotel and its lovely staff know how to go beyond our expectations to win our hearts, so we keep coming back for this experience!
Throughout our stay , we received top quality service and were flooded with very attentive and excellent service. The Club Lounge was as delightful as ever. Abbie was excellent. She was very caring and always stayed ahead of our wants. We owe her a BIG thank you for the beautiful crab meat congee specially arranged for us. Joao always carried a lovely smile and ensured my champagne glass was full! Winnie, Nicholas, Boyet, Alan, Vernisse, Rita and Amy were all excellent in providing us 5-star service.
The Concierge team was marvelous and looked after our transportation needs beautifully. My deep appreciation goes to Element and Bee for their highly attentive service rendered.
Last but not the least, I must thank Melanie for the ‘modest’ gift and the lovely card presented to us on our departure. Really much appreciated! Hope to remain as one of the hotel’s “most outstanding and understanding guests at all time”!

We booked for "PREMIER CLUB SWEET(行政套房)" and arrived at 2017/11/12 morning around 9:00, after checking in Butler Service Manager - "Tracy" asked us if we were hungry and treated us breakfast, we know even though normally we cannot start to use the hotel until 15:00, but she still treated us
We told the hotel it was our honeymoon and they prepared balloons and rose paddle and a chocolate cake which wrote "Happy Honeymoon"when we entered the room.
And for the premier club sweet customer, the hotel will provide 1 free transportation per day to any place in Macau, and for the second day they said now the car is available and they even provided us 2 free transportation.
When we went back to the room, "Allen and Jinky" would tie up the USB cable nicely and clothes which was folded, and gave us a clothe for cleaning our glasses and tablet.
After playing in the pool, ''Quan" would immediate provide us clean towels.
