Ultimate relaxation destination in Macau. From the moment we arrived at the Banyan Tree, we were immersed in a welcoming atmosphere that transported us straight to the heart of Thailand. While the initial burst of energy and cultural immersion was exhilarating, it was the gradual unfolding of tranquillity that made our stay truly unforgettable. Our suite featured an elegantly extended wading pool overlooking the canal, which our baby loved to play in, creating a peaceful retreat that felt worlds away from the bustling casinos. The deep wooden bathtub added a luxurious touch, providing a sense of serene abandonment during use. We were delighted by the thoughtful extras provided for our 10-month-old, including a tent, crib, teddy bear, and numerous other little touches. Extra kudos to the hotel for their luxurious toiletries—some of which we couldn't resist taking back with us. The butlers, all of whom were fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and very well trained, ensured that everything went smoothly. The hotel’s thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail in every corner ensured that each moment felt like a soothing escape. The expansive spa offered a state of deep relaxation, allowing us to fully unwind and savour the peaceful surroundings. The dining options were excellent, and I managed to get my laps in at their indoor pool. The gym had a good array of machines, and although I typically prefer free weights, the relaxation-focused nature of our holiday made me appreciate the options available. A lovely surprise from a special someone and a luxurious experience in the renowned banyan tree, so I decided this to be my first review on tripadvisor! My partner and I had the most amazing time in this hotel, tho the previous brands we stayed in such as four seasons and Sheraton were also superb. We checked in at a rather late time at around 9 at night and we had a seat at the enormous lobby sofa using the free wifi before heading to our lush grand coati suite.

The in-room relaxation pool and wooden tub got us so very excited I let the hot water run as soon as I got into the room and explored the other parts of the room took loads of pictures lol Lots of cushions on the gigantic sofa which was very comfy for us tired body from all the walking during the day time, lovely aroma from the candle pot with aromatic oil near the door, fully equipped with their own brand of hotel amenities, now what else have I missed? Ohhh the heated toilet seat haha! The only concern was there were way too many buttons on the walls and we failed to turn off the light in the living room where we were assisted by a staff we rang up and that was sorted out within a few minutes, excellent service as expected in such highly rated hotel.

A milk bath in the wooden tub was pure luxury. It allows you to completely rejuvenate from a week of work and indulge in a hot bath overlooking the sparking lights of macau. Shame we haven’t got much time to spend in the room, therefore, we will have to swim in the signature in-room pool another time!

I am very satisfied with my stay in this 5 star hotel. The reception area had a stylish Thai feel. My body was refreshed by the lemongrass aroma just when I stepped in the hotel. The reception staffs were very helpful in explaining to me the free shuttle bus arrangement. Every room in the hotel is a suite and has a private pool. I like the private pool much. The pool in the room is kept at twenty seven degrees and changed every day. There was a large Japanese styled wood bath tub as well as a separate shower space. It will be better and easier to get into the bath tub if there is a staircase or stepping board beside the bath tub. Near the door there was an aroma oil burner and aroma incense which will be changed to a different scent each day. The sound proof of the room was superb. The bed was comfortable. There were two washing basins. As a hotel guest, I can have free access to the Grand Resort Deck.
