This is my second time staying at 93 Luxury Suites. If you are looking for big rooms with a kitchen this is the place to stay. Very comfortable, large rooms, full kitchen and very nicely decorated. Location is excellent in Parque 93 with lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel staff is very friendly and try to accommodate, however there are a few reasons I did not give a 5* review. On one occasion I requested a different pillow and they never brought it even though I called twice. Also they don't provide free bottled water or coffee and tea. I don't really understand their policy here considering sometimes they would replenish the bottled water, coffee and tea, yet other days they wouldn't. According to the front desk they only provide two small bottles of water and two coffee pods free for an entire stay! I was here for 10 days. This is ridiculous to me considering every other Hotel I've ever stayed in provides free water, tea and coffee. One night I even called for more water and was told it was coming, didn't show up and called again just to wait for nothing. They brought it the next day and told me that because I had the do not disturb sign on the door they didn't ring the bell. I find that hard to believe!!
The breakfast here is nothing special... Especially if you opt to order it to your room. Food was cold, bread tasted stale, the fruit was not what I requested and they didn't bring coffee. When I asked for coffee they brought it and that was cold as well. Restaurant needs improvement for a 5* Hotel. Also be aware of the provided beverages in the rooms as they are almost 4x the cost of buying them at the local store. Not really surprising but just something to be aware of.
Also there is lots of construction going on around the hotel which is VERY noisy. Not sure if this is part of the hotel or another development but don't expect much peace and quiet most of the time except for on a Sunday. If there is a next time for me to stay at this hotel then I hope they put me on a higher floor so that the noise factor is reduced... But this is something everyone should be aware of before booking. There was some sort of alarm that was constantly going off multiple times a day.... At times for 15-20 min at a time.
Management I hope you take these comments into consideration and change your policies as I would like to come back and stay here again. Please let your guests know that they will be met with a very noisy stay!
Not what I would expect from a 5*...
Read moreI've been staying at Luxury Suites 93 for a little over 5 years flying back and forth between Colombia and the United States.
The service is incredible. The staff is attentive and welcoming. From the door person to the different managers and supervisors, every single team member looks to make the stay relaxing and hassle free. (Massive shout-out to Jefferson, Carlos, Jeisson, Robinson, Carlos, Pedro, and Jaysson--among many others! My memory for names isn't always the best).
The hotel has a media room (Great for families with kids who want to watch a movie on the big screen), a gym, and several conference rooms. There's also rooftop access you can request for BBQs and last I heard, they were building a park for kids (it's a BIG roof with a big tall barrier, and you get incredible views of the mountain range to the east.
The rooms are clean and well equipped. While the hotel has laundry service, there is also an option to have in-unit laundry which makes packing light.
Each room has a comfortable kitchen and refrigerator with either a kitchen island or a dining table, comfortable living room with a flat screen TV and a balcony with both screen curtains and black out curtains.
The bedrooms have great lighting on both sides of the bed with Bose sound systems and a big screen TV.
The suites I've stayed at also have a full bathroom and a half bathroom--this is great if you host while you're in Bogotá.
The location also cannot be beat! You're a block away from park 93 which has great restaurants and coffee shops. Plus, the mark has seasonal activities, pop-up shops, and weekend yoga...
Read more93 luxury Suites is a great option for your stay in Bogota, Colombia. However this is not a 5 star hotel as indicated by Expedia, Booking, Orbits, Travelocity…..This is the best of the best 3 star hotels. Why is this place not a 5 star hotel:
They do not have a pool and hot tub. A pool and hot tub is required to be a 5 star hotel They do not have a dedicated concierge desk They do not have a spa They do not have multiple restaurant offerings on their grounds The hotel is solely the building of unites available to use as hotel but no grounds
Now, here is why this is an excellent 3 star hotel
The rooms are spacious and nicely apportioned for a short or long stay The rooms are perfect for families The location in North Chico in Chapinero is one of the best. So many restaurants and bars and very good shopping close by at Andino Mall The restaurant on the premise is pretty good The staff is kind and helpful Super affordable if your income is from the USA. Amazing value for the price. Shower and water pressure in our room was outstanding Full Kitchen
Here are things that the hotel must fix to my great frustration
The internet is terrible. I mean one of the worst internets I have ever used in the modern era
The doors to the suites have issues, opening, closing and room keys not working a lot
Some of the rooms are a little worn...
