Food is good, place is nice. Be aware that they use borderline scam techniques to trick you into buying the most expensive liquor they have.

I've been there twice and I can confirm this is just a place to avoid, as they operate like this per policy.

The will have the waiter suggest something which later you realize is not on the menu and it turns out to be the god-given holy grail of liquor you actually did not want, at all.

Let me tell my stories...maybe it will paint the picture better

We were offered an innocent sangría. [waiter]Full jar ? sure, we are celebrating!.

They come with the Jar, ice and stuff in and, lo and behold, an ice bucket and a sommelier, yes, for the Sangria (insert laughing emoji here), showing you a very special bottle of wine which in on the top 100 of the world.

We look at ourselves thinking, who ordered a bottle of wine, right ? We ordered sangría. They go on anyway, explaining that it is at a discount and that it is going to be more expensive to bill the sangria by glasses instead of the bottle.

What. in. the. actual. name of baby jesus? .

It turns out that bottle of wine costs half a million pesos.. yeap, read that right. Have you ever heard of a Sangria costing half a million ? But, it is on a discount so it is ok..

Another story... Partying with friends ? [waiter] Why don't I pour the rest of the bottle in your glasses while you are distracted, you know, having a good time, that way I can suggest some shots of tequila to you ?

Sure waiter, but wait, they are not in the menu, how much are they...waiter pretends to look it up in its tablet... they are 80 thousand pesos.. per shot!.

So, scheme after scheme being pushed onto the parties, off course your celebration mood gets replaced by an angry sense of being ripped off.

Hopefully, I've learned my lesson and I will not be in this place again and I hope you will avoid it too.

The city has many other options where you will actually have a good time celebrating and not thinking about half-million...

First off, the bad chocolate massage oil that they pump into the air is overwhelming and a distraction from the food aroma. Please stop this unnecessary distraction from the atmosphere.

Second, they only have QR menu. But every time you open the menu it has a pop up for the breakfast menu. Nothing is more annoying not being able to get the information you want. This is a technical glitch that also needs to be fixed quickly as it detracts from the guest experience.

In terms of food, the pollo al rayo and the verduras a la robata were both excellent. Seasoned and cooked perfectly.

The pulpo was okay, but definitely think Osaka and Cuattro 50 are much better.

The causa de setas (mushrooms with mashed potatoes) was an example of presentation being more important than the food. Looked pretty, but very disappointing.

And I would avoid the gyosas de lomo. There are so many Asian restaurants in BOG that blow these away and same goes for the ceviche a la robata.

General impression is that they’re focused on birthday groups and overdoing the ambience thing and forgetting that ambience doesn’t matter if your food doesn’t measure up.

Would definitely recommend Osaka on 13 any day of the week...

Si bien la comida aquí es innegablemente buena, palidece en comparación con la destreza culinaria que se encuentra en un auténtico refugio Nikkei como OSK Peru. Sin embargo, solo la ambientación hace de este establecimiento una visita obligada. Entre los cinco platos que probé, dos destacaron como deleites culinarios extraordinarios que recomiendo sin reservas: el tentador Ebi Crocante y el suculento Pulpo Robata.

El servicio aquí es extraordinario, y mi camarero, el excepcional Henry Torres, merece un reconocimiento especial. Con profesionalismo, paciencia y calidez genuina, me guió a través del menú y ofreció recomendaciones estelares, asegurando una experiencia culinaria memorable. El impecable servicio complementa perfectamente la ambientación cautivadora, creando una atmósfera de excelencia inigualable.

Y no podemos olvidar las bebidas que engalanan este establecimiento. Las cuatro bebidas sin alcohol que disfruté: Piña, Jengibre, Fruto Rojo y Gulupa, fueron una sinfonía de sabores, cada sorbo fue un viaje encantador para los sentidos.
