Hotel Villa Paz — Hotel in Boyacá

Perfect hotel for a quick weekend stop in Villa de Leyva. It's definitely a no frills hotel as stated by another reviewer, but it has everything you need. A quaint room, private bathroom, typical decor, a superb staff and a delicious breakfast. However, the best part was the price (about $20 per person per night) and the hotel's location. We stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 nights as part of our trip in Colombia / Villa de Leyva. Villa de Leyva is one of the few true Colombian villages that managed to preserve it's beauty. Colonial style buildings, cobble stone streets, etc... Hotel Villa Paz is a no frills hotel with friendly staff.||||Pros: Friendly, accommodating, clean, good location, adequate breakfast, satisfactory wifi, hot water. ||||Cons: Overpriced, no storage space, limited electrical outlets in room, no complimentary shampoo, no duvet covers on duvets.||||Problems: The hotel didn't inform Booking.com that I had arrived and so I was registered as a no-show.
