Hollywood Beach Suite — Hotel in Cartagena

By far the worst place I have stayed in Cartagena. The very first day when we got the to the hotel and as soon as we walked in the room it felt like we were in an oven. The AC unit wasn’t working and every time we left the room it will turn off. How can that be possible in a city that is always hot!!! The second day the lights kept going out and in the middle of the night and by that turning off the AC again. By the third day and forward there was no water or little water coming out from the showers or sink and horrible smell coming out. Not only that you couldn’t sleep well due to all the music outside the hotel and people screaming and singing like crazy and they have the audacity to post sign saying to be silent as people are trying to sleep. There were music playing and people singing in the next rooms as well way over past midnight. I will never use this place again and I hope others don’t either. They claim in their website that they have DirecTV and other live streams but another lie. On the last day they turned off the lights and water, once that happened the AC once again was turned off making the room hot again. Hice una reserva con ellos con 3 meses de antelación para 9 personas "mi familia" yo soy Colombiana pero viajaba desde España y me hacia mucha ilusion llevarles y celebrar mi cumpleaños en la hermosa Cartagena de Indias la reserva fue por 5 días y un ingreso del 50% del precio de la estadia. El día de la llegada el check in era a las 3 de la tarde y termino siendo a las 5 por k no aparecía nadie para la entrega y luego lo k dijeron es k lo estaban limpiando. Para colmo me dan un apto k no corresponde a las fotografías k m habían enviado, ni las mismas vistas, ni mobiliario, etc. Me dan uno k aparecía 200000 pesos mas económico en booking,pero que no tomamos por haber kedado enamorados de la vista del que supuestamente reservamos. y con solo cama para 6 personas. Cuando reclame la excusa fue que el empleado con el k contacte me había enviado algo k no era y del k nisikiera disponían que por diversos motivos "quejas" ya le habían echado. Lo que me extraña es k hable con el un tal Jhon robert,y directamente con el admistrador un Señor Vigo, "No lo hice con ninguna plataforma, lo hice directamente con ellos para no tener luego dolores de cabeza" antes de realizar la reserva y me dijeron k todo seria tal cual me lo enviaban. Una vergüenza. Las opciones k me dieron era bajar 20000 pesos por noche al total de mi reserva. O k con el 50% k había pagado en la reserva podía quedarme 2 noches y con el 50% que restaba por pagar buscarme otra cosa para las otras 2 noches. Otra cosa un 17 de diciembre en plena temporada alta, y con un vuelo a mi ciudad de origen el día en k terminaba mi reserva de apto. Una total vergüenza. El apto k nos dieron olía a pintura, y a humedad a cerrado, vamos k olía mal y con alguna k otra cucarachilla por la cocina. Al final no nos kedo de otra k kedarnos allí por k donde buscar en esas fechas y sin conocer nada :(. Nos trajieron colchones incluso manchados k nos toco tirar por el suelo en el salón y acomodar las personas k faltaban. Las estrellas k doy las pongo por el entorno del sitio en k nos alojaron "apartamento torres del lago", por k tiene playa cerca, súpermercado, restaurantes, y bares. No doy las estrellas por el servicio propiamente prestado, que no me pareció...

This “hotel” is terrible, it is over priced, the customer service is the worst, we rented accomodation for 11 people and they came out with 3 super small rooms with capacity for 7 people, we requested to return our money and they didn’t, we had to call tourist police, what a nightmare. In the meanwhile the receptionist was just laughing all the way through… please if you visit Cartagena, never ever book in this junk “hotel” smelly like weed and used by very weird people. Ohh and they refused to give our money back so they just keep the money...
