Old style Italian Restaurant that probably was once a very high quality place to eat. On my visit the food was marginal and served almost room temperature. The rest start was empty and we waited an extremely long time between the order and being served. There were two individuals waiting and our server had an attitude. God bless her, I don't know what her deal was for the day but definitely an attitude. We ordered very simple food like spaghetti which took 30 minutes to be served and food was marginal as mentioned. Maybe we arrived on a bad day for the whole staff, or maybe this is normal for this restaurant. But this is the reason I gave three stars. If the staff had been a little more attentive and spoke to us then I probably would have given a better review. I would suggest that the owners put a little more effort into getting the food out quicker and being more responsive to the patrons.
For the readers of this review, there's several other Italian restaurants nearby serving better food just a few blocks away. Or if you don't mind taking it taxi, you can find other Italian restaurants a little closer towards the airport serving it better prices and higher quality meals. I hope this was helpful.

Read moreThis restaurant is in a good spot, so that's a positive. I ordered the waffles, my husband ordered the pancakes. According to the menu description they are served with fruit and miel. There was precious little syrup/ honey/miel on either, and even less fruit. In a land of mangoes I got 5 blueberries and 6 slices of banana. I asked for more honey and was told they were sold out. It took my husband asking again to get a ramekin filled a 1/4 of the way with honey rudely plunked down on our table to get enough to make our meals edible. I'd overlook the lack of fruit and honey or syrup if the service was even a little friendly. We were pretty much ignored the entire meal.
On the positive side, my husband's coffee and my smoothie were made well.
Quick update! The restaurant charged us for the extra honey that they were sold out of, but...
Read moreThis is the great example of a tourist trap! as most of restaurants in Cartagena where there's someone outside offering a meal service. I have travelled around the world and I can tell you that you will pay as much as a correct restaurant in Paris or London, but the quality is awful... frozen fish, the cleanliness of the place is something shocking, go to the toilet and take a look into the kitchen, you will get an idea how they prepare your meal. Besides that staff aren't nice and have no idea what it's quality service. if we calculate the price having in mind the minimum wage you will pay a meal equivalent to a meal of 125€ in Paris, i can tell you for that amount of money I can suggest 100 restaurants there that are outstanding. Be very careful with restaurants in Cartagena, quality...
