TAC Restaurante — Restaurant in Cartagena

I cant really review the food because I have never eaten there. I fully intended to but we got grossed out so bad that we left. While waiting for our food we saw a guy stick his head out without a face mask. This in and of itself is not good considering the seriousness of the pandemic in cartagena. I asked my wife to go pretend she is looking at some products at the register for a better view. What she saw is unacceptable. She saw 2 unmasked cooks standing over the food talking. While the masked chef lowered his mask and took a piece of ceviche out of the bowl with his hand and put it in his mouth then replaced his mask. We called the mansger over who was sitting a few tables away and told her what we saw and she immediately denied it. My wife told her in spanish "lets go look" and went to the kitchen door and showed her. Thats when the excuses started. The chef has to test the food. Number one. Serve it in a tiny plate and move away from the food and test it using anything other than your hand while testing over the bowl with the drippings going back into what you intend to serve. Different experience in Cartagena, a little bit more costly than expected and for the plates they offer, but good enough.

We tried a little bit of the menu, we had fish, seafood and meat, along with some drinks, food was solid everything was a 4/5 in flavor but the fish wasn't that good. Drinks were ok too.

Service was good, nothing special and neither bad, time of serving was quite long, around 60 minutes.

Prices are between 8 - 15 USD...
