This is the worse hostel you couldn’t probably imagine. ||The owner pretend to be working as the reception so he don’t have to answer to backpackers requests. He even refused to speak to us when we have questions in regards of the room. I have never met anyone so rude before! ||Breakfast suppose to be included via hostelworld booking but it was not available at all. We asked if we can cooked the owner said kitchen can only used between 12-10pm. Why called breakfast if is after 12pm?! ||The air con only switched on from 8pm-2am!!! The staff only switched it in at 830. MOST OF THE HOSTELS IN THE AREA ALLOWS THE AIR CON UNTIL 8am at least! ||One bathroom to serve 14 beds and I noticed they don’t change the bedsheet after the previous guest left!! ||You cannot leave baggage here and you have to leave once you checked out, you are not allow to hang around in the hostel after check out. Which hostels does that?? ||Do not stay here, go to next door piano hostel, is 5k cheaper, bigger room, and AC on until 10am in the morning! ||Majority of the guests I spoken in the hostel are really upset and checked out the next day.||||Honestly, I usually don’t leave reviews but king hostel leave me no choice. Pls treat your guests with respect, else no one will ever stayed more than one day in...
Read moreWe arrived at 10am from panama after 5 days on the boat. Check-in is at 2, we knew that but we still asked if we could take a shower (the staff only speaks spanish, and luckily I do speak some spanish) they said no, all the facilities can only be used after check-in since there are too many guests (I only saw 3 other perople around) we did not really understand her point and asked again at 12, even offered to pay something to shower, since we were really craving for it. At first she still said no, after few minutes talking she finally let us take a shower. Yay. |The dorm was for 14 people and the beds were awful, I had a top one and the ladder wasn't fixed properly so it was really hard to climb it. Lockers were 'broken'. Some of the guests had breakfast included, we did not, I do not know why. I left the hostel first thing in the morning but asked if I could leave my backpack there for two hours. No chance.|It was only 8 dollars, but still very disappointing and bad for my 'holiday mood'. |Don't stay there unless you are on a really tight budget. Oh and the location was...
Read moreBy far the worst hostel I stayed in, that said after 7 month of traveling in South America. The owner's attitude was disgusting (just ignored our questions after we paid) and lied to us. There's no breakfast and kitchen is only available after 12pm noon so it's impossible to eat in the morning. Air conditioning only works from 8pm to 2am (yes they turn them off in the middle of the night). Shower is cold and smells like a urinal. Only 4 power outlets for a room of 14 people, and one of them had holes too big and wasn't functioning. They give you paper bracelets to identify you, and if you lose it you have to pay for it. You are not allowed to stay in the hostel perimeter after check-out or even leave the bags, so if you wanna spend the day when having a night bus or go a night at one of the beaches with just the necessities, it's impossible. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here, even though the price...
