Stayed here for 2 nights, seemed nice enough when we booked the hotel & is in a fine location. Immediately upon entering my room, I noticed an open window and a decent number of bugs in the room. It became apparent at night, when we had the tv on, that there were actually tons of bugs-all flocking to the TV. Not sure if the open window was a decision made by room service, but I found it a poor one. Anyways, the larger conflict came when the following day, I found a trail of ants in my room. I threw some towels over where they seemed to be coming from, then went to the front desk to ask for assistance. I explained the ants and how I felt uncomfortable in the room with all the bugs sharing it with me, and was met with very rude staff behavior. I was first told “Ok there’s nothing we will do about this”, then “this is a small problem because ants are small” and a simple “we’ll go spray the area”. I waited for a bit and was told the room was good and sprayed now, so I went back in. Nothing had been sprayed, just the towels gone. Ants still there. I asked for a new room, which I originally was told I could have. This time around though, the staff was very rude to me, threatening to not get me a new room and also no reimbursement if I were to cancel for the night and get a new hotel. In the end, I did get a new room with less (not zero) bugs in it, but it was a very unnecessarily stressful, uncomfortable and honestly just bizarre situation to be in. Staff does not value their guests it seemed. Would not...
Read moreThese are rooms for rent, not a hotel.. First of all, there is no elevator, we dragged our suitcases to the second floor, there is no one to help.||When we got to the room, the fan in the toilet was open and humming, at night I couldn't go to the toilet without waking the little one. I ask the girl at the reception what to do, she tells me that I have to look for the fuse box and try to turn it off.||We return to the room at night, went to turn on the TV, melted batteries in the remote control, changed the batteries and the TV does not work. The girl at the reception says someone before you messed up the programs and that's it.||This morning I went to take a shower, I took out larger (clean) towels - all half wet.||The mini bar is empty.||Beds very uncomfortable.||All in all, we couldn't wait to leave, and the room was 80 euros for one night, which is quite expensive considering all the above. Certainly never...
Read moreWe needed a hotel for the night after landing in Zagreb. It had to be close to the bus station, as we had quite a bit of baggage with us, for a festival that we were attending, that had to be carried over to the bus station the next day. The bus station was pretty much just across the road which was a relief.|Our flight ended up being delayed by 3 hours and we didn’t get to our hotel until close to 4am but thankfully they had a 24hr reception and we were greeted with a friendly welcome. We were grateful that check in was efficient as we couldn’t wait to get to bed.|The room, just like the rest of the hotel looked new and modern. Everywhere looked nice and clean too. Our bed was very large and comfortable. Even though we only stayed at the hotel for about 7 hours I can say it was everything that we...
