LOG IN ROOMS — Hotel in City of Zagreb

It is not a hotel. It is what is says: Log in Rooms. It is a self check-in residence with lock boxes outside the front yard.But here is the guest beware part. Unlike Airbnb, where the host will contact you 24-48hrs prior to your arrival to give check-in instructions, none of that happens with Log in Rooms (even though they had my email address on record).I was welcomed with a locked front desk door and a local phone number to call during normal business hours. So if you don't have a local phone number, you are out of luck.You'll need to find a way to call international. And if it rains, snows, or freezes that day or evening of your check in ... Too bad, so sad.What 4 star hotel welcomes guests this way? But this is not a hotel, and it certainly does not have 4 star amenities.The experience I had was akin to a private room in a hostel or Airbnb without access to kitchen, living room, or laundry facilities.Ironically, the booking platform I used matched it against competing hostels in the area.To sum it up, the listing, pictures, and reviews mislead me up until the check-in moment where I couldn't not cancel my reservation...

AC not working at all||2. No clean service at all, after we called the owner , he asked us which need to be clean , what do you want . He called his rooms is 4 hotels but he asked such stupid question , which need to be clean .||3. Checked out time 11, at 10 55 he knocked our door rudely and said you have just 1 min||4. When we was going to leave, we told him we will provide our commens, the owner man said Fuc* YOU ||5. Free parking area just a small part, but no one explained to us so that we received the penalty. ||6. No one in reception for check in, we wait more than 10 min, during the stay , no one in reception ||||It was the worst experience which I have been, it is not a hotel because without hotel service and also reception , but also not a residence because without kitchen. Strongly not recommend at all and we also complained to book. Com for...

You get what you pay for, and this place was really affordable so...

PROs:

Really nice lady at the front desk. She stayed up late to welcome us, shared great tips about the city. If we had stayed longer, she would help even more I'm sure.

AC worked well, which was essential!

Generally clean room

Location is fine, but you need to be fine with 15min walk before reaching anything

CONs:

Tiny tiny room

Bed and pillows below average, bed not even properly made

Transparent blinds, i.e. not dark room

Poor wifi connectivity

No food at all (Hilton nearby or local bakeries were good...
