This apartment was superb. The accommodation has everything you could ask for, a roomy apartment that is finished to a very high spec. The bathroom was very roomy and very modern. The apartment itself has a huge comfortable bed, lots of storage, a kitchen with all amenities available and a great balcony overlooking old town Dubrovnik and Lockrum island. The one unfortunate thing was there was some building taking place in front of the apartment block and the cranes did take away from the view however it didn’t bother us we still managed to take some amazing photos. We weren’t in the apartment during the day so noise wasn’t an issue. We had lovely evenings sipping wine on the balcony over looking the beautiful lights of old town Dubrovnik. There was zero noise from any other apartment. The owner Nicholas was an absolute gentleman who met us upon arrival and suggested places to visit and explaining the history of Lockrum Island which we knew nothing about. Of all the hotels we stay in on city breaks this apartment was far superior. It’s a 10 minute walk to old town and there is a supermarket and a coffee shop/bar just 2 minutes up the road. Location was excellent and the apartment was fab. So happy we stayed here and hope to be back sometime soon. 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you to the owner for a...
Read moreSpent 4 nights May '23 here. Easy to park the car in designated bay. Owner Niko gave us a very detailed walk around the apartment and provided a very comprehensive information guide to Dubrovniks sites and facilities. Everything in this apartment is top quality. The extra large bed, duvet, pillows, towels, cutlery, kitchen equipment, large bottles of shampoo and shower gel, all feel good and are high quality items. Even the toilet paper is the expensive kind! The view of Lokrum and The Old Town from the balcony couldn't be bettered even if you stopped at the very expensive hotel up the hill and paid a couple of hundred euros extra per night. There are 3 spots you can get down to the sea. One is a 5 minute walk and is flat rocks to lay towels on, quite private though. The other two are fine shale/sandy beaches in opposite directions at the bottom of the steps and both a 10 minute walk. It takes 15 minutes of sedate walking to reach the Old Town. Can't praise this apartment highly enough. Niko's command of english is excellent. If you get the opportunity to book here, have a car or want a taxi to drop you off at the door (which can't be done in the Old Town Apartments) then don't hesitate. You'll see on booking sites this place is in demand. Top tip - book...
Read moreMy partner and I just spent 3 nights in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, staying at the wonderful Amorino Apartments. Don’t waste any more time looking for somewhere to stay. This place is it! Absolute perfection in every way. Our apartment was simply gorgeous. Spacious, modern, squeaky clean and very well equipped. It included a welcome pack in the fridge and detergent for the washing machine. The generous balcony offered us views directly across to the island of Lokrum, with the old city of Dubrovnik off to the right. The view, especially at sunset when the lights come on in the old town, is spectacular. The best thing about the Amorino Apartments though are the hosts, Dubravka and Niko. They are the warmest and most welcoming hosts ever. It’s obvious that they are very proud of their city and their business. They were very knowledgeable and provided us with some history of the city and recommended a wonderful restaurant for us to visit for some really authentic Croatian food. On our second night they brought us a complimentary bottle of wine and the most delicious home baked Apple Studel! Like I said, don’t look anywhere else. This place is perfect. Thank you Dubravka and Niko 🙏💗 We hope we can visit...
