Guesthouse Victoria, Dubrovnik — Hotel in Dubrovnik

We spent two nights in the sea view rooms.||||Anna (the hostess) was very friendly and helpful.||||The place was very well maintained and spotless.||||The room were comfortable with balcony's that looked out over the water. Both bathrooms (we had two rooms) were modern, clean, etc. and included new washing machines. Only one of the rooms was an en-suite so check which one you are booking.||||There is a well equipped kitchen for the rooms to share.||||To get into the old city you need to walk down some stairs (about 100m) to a bus stop. You then take the number 8 bus to the city. The buses are modern and comfortable and cost 15 kuna. Have small change as the bus drivers do not appreciate being given 200 Kuna notes.||||You can do a slightly longer walk (probably about 300m) down another flight of stairs to the water. This part of the harbour is very attractive (lots of boats, etc) and also has some decent restaurants and bars.||||We thought that the accommodation was...

Anna, who runs Victoria Guesthouse is a great proprietor. She is always working, but not obtrusive. The apartment itself was complete, newly decorated and cool on hot days. I cannot emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the proprietor.||And, given that i messed up my knee before coming, i didn't find the location (up the hill) a problem because i used Uber for the whole trip, and it worked very well indeed.||||There is a grocery store across the way with a deli counter and very good fresh bread. Just down the way is the Luna Pizza place, which everyone seems to know. First impression of the place is clean and new. Our room has its own bathroom with washer (didn’t use though). Shared kitchen is available with fridge, stove, microwave, pots, cups, plates and utensils. Ana , the host is really nice and friendly. Upon arrival at Dubrovnik main bus station, we took a taxi to this accommodations and was charged 60 kuna. Once you get familiar with the area and bus routes, this place is so conveniently located and very accessible by several bus routes. Half an hour walking distance to old town Dubrovnik. Good experience! Ana even drove us to the main bus station on our departure. Highly recommend Victoria Guesthouse. Will definitely book this...
