Don’t go to Luna the restaurant/pizzeria that they recommend.|The place have 2-4 free parking spots. Thats the best part of the hotel. The location is a long walk in to the old town. I would say 20-30 min. If its 35C outside, its a heavy walk. The your gonna walk more when you get to old town. The bus no 8 stops very close and take you all the way to Pile gate. 15kuna per person. 32kuna with Uber. Just saying:) The person working at Jele room was kind. Something we found was hard to come by in a Croatia. |Her mom lived in the room next door. |The place smelled bad, like sour water. |The head board on the bed was full of hair. I will post a picture. |Again, Don’t go to the pizza place Luna that the staff recommends, they charged us 60kuna for 1L sparkling water and 75 for pizza. When I told them that something must be wrong, 60 can’t be right they became very aggressive and called out the whole staff and all of the sudden no one speak english. They don’t speak that great to start with. Disappointing start of our first trip to Croatia. Well everything got better after we left Jele...
Read moreLoved our experience at Jele Rooms! The room was so clean! It was small, but expected as it’s what I booked on Expedia. All of the space was maximized in the room. Bathroom was renovated and clean! A kettle is provided with mugs, glasses, cutlery and plates. We bought instant coffee at the convenience store 2 steps beside the apartment building, and used the kettle for our morning coffee. The host was communicative and friendly! The instructions for check in were so clear! I recommend this apartment for a smooth and comfortable stay in Dubrovnik! Be aware that it’s 30 min walk from old town and the streets are hilly and there are lots of stairs! Great for sneaking in exercise after all that gelato LOL. I recommend the restaurant La Luna and the bakery Rusica down the street (literally 1-2 min).

Everything is perfectly clean.||||We chose to stay here for 3 nights, partly because of the shared kitchen. The equipment in the kitchen is the cheapest stuff available, though, not suited for anything else but breakfast.||||If you are a light sleeper you will notice water in the pipes and toilets flushing from 6 or 7 o’clock in the morning. Actually, it’s quite noisy in the mornings.||||But forget about these small annoyances. Jele Room offers value for money in a pricy...
