I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Hotel Bellevue during my visit to Dubrovnik, Croatia, and I must say, it was a truly fabulous experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel until the time of my departure, I was overwhelmed by the charm, elegance, and top-notch service that Hotel Bellevue had to offer.

Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a breathtaking hall/foyer area that seamlessly connected the beach area with the rest of the hotel. The design was sleek and modern, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly set the tone for an unforgettable stay.

As I made my way to my room, I couldn't help but notice the unique headboard adorned with books, which added a touch of literary charm and character. The attention to detail in the room's decor was evident, showcasing the hotel's commitment to providing a memorable experience for its guests.

One of the highlights of my stay was the close proximity to the magnificent Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which was just a short 5-minute walk from the hotel. The photos I took simply do not do justice to the grandeur and historical significance of this landmark. Exploring the Wall was a truly awe-inspiring experience, made all the more convenient by the hotel's prime location.

The hotel's private beach with tiers was a true sanctuary of relaxation. The crystal-clear waters and the soothing sound of the waves provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding and soaking up the sun. The sun sail above the restaurant area provided a pleasant shade while I indulged in a fabulous lunch. The superb food served at the hotel's restaurant left my taste buds craving for more. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary mastery.

I was impressed to learn that Hotel Bellevue underwent a complete renovation in 2017. This commitment to modernization was evident throughout the property, as every aspect exuded a fresh and contemporary ambiance. The hotel's dedication to providing a world-class experience was apparent in every detail, from the stylish rooms to the impeccable service.

In addition to all the wonderful amenities, the staff at Hotel Bellevue truly made my stay unforgettable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. Their genuine hospitality elevated my experience and made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay.

To capture the essence of my remarkable experience, I attempted to post videos, but they simply cannot do justice to the beauty and elegance that Hotel Bellevue exudes. This hidden gem is a testament to luxury and relaxation, offering an oasis of tranquility amidst the vibrant city of Dubrovnik.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Bellevue to anyone seeking an extraordinary stay in Dubrovnik. With its prime location, stunning views, delectable cuisine, and impeccable service, this hotel is truly a gem. My time there was nothing short of exceptional, and I eagerly look forward to returning to Hotel Bellevue for another unforgettable experience.

I’ve stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik has to be the worst one of them all. I booked this hotel based on the Google reviews, however both me and my partner were truly disappointed with the hotel service and amenities. Unfortunately, the hotel is nowhere near international 5* standards and the price we paid was not adequate with the service.

This is because:

There was no warm welcome on arrival. Our room was not even ready and the lady at the hotel reception that checked us in was rather abrupt. The reception staff never offered us any water or alternative refreshments on arrival, which I believe is a standard across many premium hotels.

Once we arrived at the hotel room, we’ve noticed that the bathroom amenities weren’t replenished, for example shower gel bottle was empty and the conditioner bottle was open/broke. The carpet was not properly hoovered and the skirting boards were dirty.

We’ve had our room cleaned on one of of the days and the bathroom amenities still weren’t replenished then. I’ve had to ring reception and embarrassingly ask for some toilet paper.

Very disappointed with the breakfast buffet as it was rather poor and unappealing (very limited choices)

The beach staff are not very attentive, on a few occasions my partner had to go to the restaurant and order the drinks himself.

The hotel beach is divided into two sections, one is for hotel guests only and the other is available to the public and is rather busy and noisy. There is no security or access control to the hotel terrace whatsoever.

When ordering drinks in the beach area, staff would ask sometimes if we were hotel guests (this relates to my point above). This question comes across offensive and the hotel should come up with a better system of recognising the hotel guests from the public (e.g. wristband).

The staff doesn’t always greet you when you walk past reception

There was no outdoor pool, however there is an indoor pool and jacuzzi

The hotel supposedly offers 20% off food and beverage (once per stay), however we have never received this benefit.

The wallpaper was peeling off the bedroom wall (room 602) not sure if it’s related to heat.

The hotel did not seem to have a safe hotel bag storage, the luggages were spread across the lobby floor in reception area.

On the other hand, the property has a great view and is conveniently located. The old town is only about 25 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel interior is modern and...

Fabulous location, the comfiest beds, excellent amenities, friendly, considerate staff - felt like home! ||Where to start? |Check-in was smooth and informative|Bellman was helpful in showing us the hidden room features|Balcony became our hidden paradise - overlooking the Adriatic, sleeping with the door ajar|Hotel staff surprised me with a birthday cake! (So thoughtful and delicious)|Housekeepers were out of this world! Too often in North America the housekeepers spend too much time rearranging your toiletries but neglect to actually clean... Not here... Spotless. Balcony glass railing and doors, bathroom of mirrors, floor, tub, chrome fixtures.... Glistened. GLISTENED. |Indoor pool was beautiful with beach access and a beautiful view of the Adriatic (for rainy days)|Beach was STUNNING. It's not a Caribbean beach so bring water shoes and embrace it for it's natural beauty.|Hotel (included) breakfast was excellent. We never ordered from the menu as the continental offerings were MORE than adequate to get us through to mid afternoon! |Staff and staffing levels - despite staying end of October (and therefore at the very end of the season) the hotel was amply staffed, as were amenities, services and offerings.... This hotel is doing it right. |Location was excellent. We were originally undecided between Excelsior v Bellevue. Happy we went with Bellevue. The balcony sealed the deal but we ended up being very happy with the location. Approximate 10 minute walk to the Pile gates (arguably the more impressive gate) and yet the view of the Adriatic was worth the short walk.||ONLY feedback... English music is played everywhere... Bars, restaurants, beach... Music leaves such a lasting memory of any vacation... We were desperate to hear some Croatian tunes instead of catering to the English demographic.
