Pansion Panorama Dubrovnik — Hotel in Dubrovnik

I recently made a booking with them, early on a Sunday morning. To my embarrassment, I'd got my anniversary date wrong and booked the wrong date! |I contacted Panorama within 50 minutes, explained, shared my flight details, and asked to cancel the booking.|I was advised I had to pay the full cost of the accommodation in order to cancel! They finally offered for me to pay €80 - or the full amount. My choice.|I've since raised this with booking.com who have also asked the owner to see reason. Sadly, he's decided to keep the money as was within the terms and conditions to do so. He has agreed to refund me €240 (but to pocket the €80 for doing absolutely nothing but take advantage of the situation).|Thankfully booking.com have been far more reasonable and paid the €80 difference. |I would not trust someone so ready to fleece people out of money for what was clearly an honest mistake.|Meanwhile, I have a further 10-15 working days until I can expect Panorama to return the...

This apartment was great if, like us, you where looking for simple no frills accommodation.|Nice sized shared living room with TV, nice sized kitchen with basic cooking stuff- no working freezer though - internet...||The room was a bit shabby and although booking a room with private balcony we got a room with no balcony and there is no shared balcony - though this worked out ok as this back room was a lot more private than the other two rooms.||The apartment is up a massively long set of steps up from the harbour so it's quite physically demanding (but you can get bus number 3 to outside the door- it's just quite expensive to do that every day) but you get a great view! Most of dubrovnik is apartment hotels. This one overlooks the bay. Zio the owner meets you at the airport and throughout your stay will assist with anything(trips, laundry, recommendations). The place is basic. Rooms have a bed, aircon and cupboard. You have a private bathroom opposite the room. It's a 30 minute walk to the old city or there's a bus.
