Hostel Villa Zorana — Hotel in Grad Hvar

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights, and had such a pleasant experience! |Location: Perfect, very central. Like a 6 minute walk from the port, 10minutes from old town, 5 minutes to the supermarket, 5 to 15 minutes to the beaches. The beds were comfortable and very clean, there's AC as well, and plenty of powerpoints in the room.The staff do an AMAZING job helping you with whatever you need and keeping the hostel spotless- thank you! The kitchen is spacious, it was great to cook- 2 big fridges and 1 freezer. Guests were respectful, and didn't touch your things. I did my laundry here (75 kuna) and they smelled AMAZING, Looked like they'd been ironed and folded beautifully- so it was very worth the price! It's super easy to meet people here- so if you come alone no prob. There's a FREE bar crawl every night! |And they give you free beach and shower towels- If I return to Hvar, I'll be staying here for sure! |Cons:|- The wifi was sometimes not great- but still worked- and i was still able to book all my tickets and future travel plans - just had to allow extra time!|- Checkout is at 10am which some people think its too early, but didnt affect me. You can still use the facilities just be out of the room. |- Only 1 female bathroom between 2 mixed dorms, but it honestly wasnt a problem. I never had to wait to...

Amazing Stay – Felt Like Home!

We had such a wonderful experience staying here! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful specifically Bartul 💜. Whether it was helping us book activities, giving great local tips, or even arranging a late-night pizza delivery, they were always down for a chat and happy to help with anything we needed.

The rooms were spotless, and the beds were really comfortable. We especially appreciated the privacy curtains, which made the dorms feel more private and cozy. Bathrooms and toilets were always clean, and the whole place was clearly well looked after.

Special shoutout to the cleaners who did a fantastic job every day, the super friendly receptionist, and the sweet older gentleman who sits out on the porch in the evenings just to make sure everyone gets home safe (and to make sure you’re not too loud so others can sleep, meaning you’ll always know you’re going to sleep through the night!). The vibe here is welcoming, relaxed, and genuine.
