Novak Apartment — Hotel in Grad Hvar

Our hostess Kristina runs her own jewelry shop and came to collect us at the bus stop when we arrived at Hvar Old Town. She walked us to the apartment the easy, non-promenade way and her lovely father helped us with our bags up the main stairs. We were initially given a much larger and spacious 1 bed apartment than what we had paid for which we were very grateful for! Kristina helped us with some restaurant recommendations and they were all great. On our last night, we had to move into the original smaller apartment that we had rented which was simply a bedroom with bathroom and very tiny kitchen, no kettle for coffee in the morning, etc. It was very basic but did the purpose. I recommend renting the larger apartment if you can! Her mom accepted our payment on the last day and returned our passports with a smile. My partner and I were staying in hvar for 5 days and wanted somewhere close to the beach... Well this couldn't have been closer! It was a 2 minute walk down to the sea front however the apartment is up about 40 steps which can be hard to carry luggage up but the apartment owner helped us. ||The apartments are hard to find however the owner came and met us by the sea front (a two minute walk from the coach/bus station) ||The apartment was lovely and clean with a really Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of pans, plates, cutlery and so on.
