We went to this place several times during our stay in Hvar. The gelato is great and probably the best on Hvar. The reason that I only give them 2 stars is because the service was extremely bad the 2 last times we went here. One of the personnel is really not nice and doesn’t care about customer service. She was really rude and it was obvious that she wanted to be somewhere else.

Also another thing that annoyed me was that she filled up the cups with gelato really weird. If you ask for 2 different kinds of gelato she would make the second taste much smaller. So 75% of the gelato would be the first one up and only 25% on the second kind. Might sound a bit strange to comment but it’s annoying to have to say your favourite kind of gelato first otherwise you will get too little of it. We stopped going here after the second time she served us.

She worked on the 6th and 7th of July and she is not one of the younger girls. They did a great job!

I hope the owner reads this and give her...

I guess coming to Hvar after hiking 900km on the Camino Norte (Camino de Santiago in Spain) for 38 days was supposed to be for rest and recovery after that hard of a trek...but any weight loss that happened is now easily being replaced - almost daily - by indulging in the BEST gelato we have had in many countries traveled over the past few years!

Oh my, so so yummy! And the BIG bonus is being greeted with a smile and kind conversation from a sweet young woman (brunette, sorry I have never asked her name but I believe is the owner or one of the owners).

The scoops are huge. Always fresh tasting. Very creamy. Real natural tasting ingredients.

Yes a bit pricey but for this quality who is to complain.

I am hooked on the dark chocolate, the coconut, the pistachio and hubby is stuck on the...

There is quite a bit of variety of flavours, or so they would like you to believe (32 to be exactly). Some flavours were not available at the time I queued up, and they are crossed out in the pic. Sadly, the consistency of the gelato was anything but smooth, while both flavours I picked were underwhelming. It might be just the type I selected (lemon with basil and ruby chocolate), however I would rank the gelato I ate here as poor.

The two scoops served might be the smallest ice cream scoops I have ever been served. First scoop was more like a half scoop and the second one was more of a smidge, slightly brushed over the first scoop. Considering the exorbitant price, lacklustre flavours and tiniest portion size, this is not a place I...
