Did some research and ended up booking this place on a whim. So glad i did!! It can be daunting booking somewhere you've never been and i have to say google maps is nothing like Split actually is... ||Ljubo and his family are the best hosts. We emailed the family far to much before we went but that was me lol. ljubo picked us up from the airport and took us door to door service. Gave us a map of Split so we didnt get lost. Lots of information. He WhatsApp us all the time checking we were ok, and booking trips for us. That little touch was very nice. He had put a couple of beers in the fridge and showed us where to go get shopping. Lovely lovely family and would recommend if you do stay here book with them NOT via booking.com you get a better deal.||Apartment. We found a lot of Split the floor seemed to be made of nice shiny slippery marble and here was no exception but no big deal just be careful walking down the back alleys. ||Our room had a very very comfortable bed. We like ours bit soft and this was spot on! it was clean and was recently renovated. Had a kettle and crockery and cutlery and a fridge. Massive wardrobe with extra blankets etc. Tv. Air con unit..was a god send during the hot nights.. wake up press cold... go to sleep.. wake up turn off... go to sleep. Was fantastic.. Bathroom was clean and modern with tons of toilet roll and they even put shower gel etc in there. Hairdryer was left. We can't fault this apartment, even on arrival and I thought there were no curtains.. there aren't... You open the window and there are shutters outside. They block everything! ||Ljubo also took us back to the airport on departure. He is obsessed with the history of Croatia. After listening to him we can see why. Its defiantly worth a read up. ||If you stay on Dvornikova walk to Radunica turn left and walk straight down. In 5 minutes you are at the Green market.. the promenade.. and all the sites. First beach is in opposite direction and also 5...
Read moreFrom the 1st email to the last WhatsApp farewell, the hosts at Kuzma Rooms are very helpful. The flats are a 5-7 minute walk to the ATM, Tommy grocery store, & BIPA store which is a kind of grocery/drug store. Once you leave the room, turn right go up the incline then left to the end of the area then left. If you want to head to The Palace just keep straight at the end instead of turning left. It's really quite close to everything & very clean. The Riva which is the River walk where the cruise ships dock, tour companies, the bus stop. Yes, excellent location. The remote control AC was a huge plus. Only con is that you really are on your own. Since this is NOT a hotel, there is no front desk you can run to and ask questions. I also wish the beds albeit comfortable were a true American full/queen instead of 2 twins pushed together. Overall, the room had everything I needed but you do have to request an iron. This is more of an apartment keep in mind. Ljubo is a great driver & I never would have made it to/from the airport without him. I would...
Read moreI stayed at Kuzma for 6 nights total; the apartment for five nights and the single room for one. Both rooms were beautiful, clean, comfortable and well decorated. All rooms are totally renovated and modern. The location is close to everywhere; a 5 minute walk to the beach, about 8 minutes to the old city and pier/bus/train station. Within minutes of booking I received an email from Petar with instructions on checking in. I was already in Split and he let me have the room early at 10:00 am on my arrival. I usually don’t review places when there are already so many favorable reviews, but felt like I had to because I was so impressed with this property. I met the entire family during my stay and everyone was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. If you decide to go to Split this is the...
