Room: Pros: Jacuzzi was very warm, the living room was quite big, the mattresses were perfect, the main TV was big, with Netflix, Disney+ etc. The other 2 TV's didn't have a smart function and were a bit small. The kitchenette included a small fridge, stove, coffee maker, and kettle. Sofas were soft, bathrooms were ok.
Cons: The glass between the bedrooms and bathrooms was see-through if the lights were on while inside. You could see a perfect outline even when not in the shower/bath. No wall or glass between the shower and the rest, so there was always a mess.
Breakfast: Pros: Delicious eggs, bacon, beans, yogurts, free juices, salads etc.
Cons: Always the exact same.
Dinner: Absolutely amazing food, better than most restaurants in the area, honestly so, so delicious. Great variations, desserts were amazing. Most hotels have such horrendous desserts, but this hotel was so, so delicious, I would've paid the price just for the desserts.
Cons: None
Gym: Quite lavish, a lot of equipment, everything worked
Spa: N/A
Indoor pool: Warm, peaceful, a lot of chlorine though, has 2 hot tubs.
Location: Not that great, restaurants are too expensive and portions are dry and small. No sight seeing here, but best beach in Napa, huge waves after 15:00, very warm water, clear, bar etc. Nissi beach is too full, a lot of algae and cold. Right next to a beautiful church.
Elevators always worked as well, were quite slow though.
The pool area was decent, just a little small, practically no greens and you don't always have shade, but you don't need the pool with a beach this close by..
Service was amazing; the cleaning ladies were fast and thorough, and the waiters were respectful...
Read moreAfter visiting with my family (5 adults) for the 1st time last year we couldn't wait to return. The hotel is amazing; great facilities, impeccably clean, wonderful staff and amazing food - the chicken caesar salad is worth the trip alone! The location is perfect, right across the road from the beach and a 15 min stroll into Ayia Napa. It's the little things that make Napa Mermaid so good - leaving a cake in my daughters room on her birthday was a lovely surprise. ||The pool area is lovely with very comfy sunbeds, shaded seating and plenty of great food and drink available all day. The beach is superb and we spent pretty much every day swimming and at Marcellos beach bar - highly recommended!||Ayia Napa is a great resort. The top of town is pretty lively, but as you go down towards the harbour you have an amazing selection of restaurants and very chic, laid back bars and cafes - there really is something for all ages. Top 3 restaurants for us were Hokkaido, Clarabel and Da Vinci although we had great food everywhere. You also need to visit Jello and Alya for the cocktails. Jello also does fantastic sushi - just be careful with the portion sizes as they're much bigger than the UK.||We ventured to Fig Tree Bay this year and so glad we did - never seen water so crystal clear and it has great facilities. It's a 15 min taxi ride and definitely worth it.||There were so many highlights again but swimming with a turtle was amazing...how lucky we were to be in the right place at the right time!||All in all, Ayia Napa and the Napa Mermaid are amazing and we had another great holiday. Already booked and counting down the days until next year!||Efkaristo poli...
Read moreA superb hotel! The best I've ever stayed in. This is our 3rd visit to the beautiful Cyprus and it wows us every time. We booked this holiday through Easyjet from Belfast for 2 weeks b&b. This was our first stay in Napa Mermaid and I hope it won't be our last. The hotel is spotless, rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels whenever you need them, we'll stocked mini fridge, safe, spotless pool and pool area with the best loungers around, of which there are plenty for everyone. No sunbed wars or races. It is a very quiet hotel which is exactly why we booked it. It is close to bus stops for visits to Protaras, Nissi Beach and the water park for âŹ2 each daytime and âŹ3 each after 9pm. The hotel is also within walking distance to Ayia Napa Harbour which is simply stunning and has great food places. The clientelle at Napa Mermaid are mainly German and French so there are a few cultural differences like waiting in line and please and thank you but overall, this place is heaven on earth! The staff can't do enough, they're very attentive and friendly. It was our son's birthday and the hotel arranged a little birthday cake and a bottle of wine for us in the room! The cleaning staff are fantastic, the rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. Soft drinks here are around âŹ4 .10 each, cocktails are around âŹ9.50, a lunch meal is around âŹ15 each but the food is delicious and portions are a good size so highly recommend! A fantastic hotel! We loved every...
