Kaliva On The Beach — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

Kaliva on the Beach was one of our favourite places in Cyprus that we had the pleasure of visiting twice during our visit.

Situated on Pantachou Beach, it has divine sea front views and beautiful décor (as well as a tasty beach-side food selection). The restaurant really is beautiful inside and out and really bough Mykonos / Santorini vibes.

We didn't need to book a table and were seated for lunch straight away. The food was absolutely delicious and couldn't be faulted and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. It was reasonably priced too and lunch for the both of us came to around EUR 30 with beers, soft drinks and two main courses.

We decided to stay a little longer after our lunch a rented out 2 sun loungers for EUR 20 on their section of the beach (EUR 40 for two at the weekends). It was a very hip and 'on-trend' spot to enjoy your day and seemed very popular with the younger generation.

The beach just in front of Kaliva was clean, peaceful and relaxing – a lot loss crowded than Nissi Beach which meant we actually preferred Pantachou Beach over Nissi.

The toilets at Kaliva are cleaned regularly and are located at the back of the restaurant – super clean – and the correct COVID social distancing regulations were in place making us feel very safe.

We had our dream wedding 24.09.21 at Kaliva on the Beach in Ayia Napa, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcomed by the professional and attentive staff, who truly went above and beyond to make our day special.

A special mention goes to our wedding planner, Suzanne. She was simply amazing! From our initial discussions to the final touches on the big day, Suzanne was incredibly organized and detail-oriented. She took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life with ease. Her creativity and suggestions made a significant difference, ensuring everything flowed smoothly.

The location was magical. The beautiful beach setting created the perfect atmosphere and the romantic decor made everything even more dreamy. Our guests were in awe of the stunning views and relaxed ambiance.

The food was another highlight of the day. Every dish was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. The service was also top-notch; the staff was attentive and ensured everyone was well taken care of.

What truly sets Kaliva apart is its incredible waitstaff. Every day, we were warmly welcomed by a team of dedicated waiters who went above and beyond to make our time there special. Although I'm regrettably unaware of the tall, dark-haired gentleman's name, his impeccable service, along with Petia and Kaloian's, made us feel like cherished regulars.
