Hai Hotel — Hotel in Larnaca

OMG where do I start? A FANTASTIC little hotel just off the beach on a side street slap bang in the centre of Larnaca in the Finikoudes beach area and in Larnaca's old town. Absolutely, frigging, marvellously fantastic! Check-in was a breeze, the hotel super clean, the room huge and also, surprisingly SUPER CLEAN. It was absolutely spotless - whoever they have hired to clean the rooms does outstanding work. If I could bring them back to the UK to clean my own home, then well, how great would that be? ||There is fast Wi-fi, modern bathrooms with superb power showers and the room, for the budget prices it offers, has a wonderful selection of milk, tea and coffee. ||However, what is most surprisingly of all is the superb, efficient and excellent customer service provided by the manageress named Nadia. Not only is she one of the most pleasant hotel staff members I have ever come across but she is astute, assertive and extremely efficient, having helped me sort through a few hotel and non-hotel travel arrangements without hesitation.||This excellent customer service, coupled with a bright, modern, fresh, efficient and superbly clean (almost hospital clean) hotel, confirms that Hai hotel IS my number one place to stay every time I visit Cyprus. Without question. Without hesitation. The good news is that the hotel is in a very good location in central Larnaca, a stone's throw from the beach, castle and St Lazarus' church. It is clean, the room was air conditioned, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, the shower worked well and the hotel provided toiletries.|The bad news is the downstairs rooms are on street level and someone in the street can look directly into your window, so you have to keep the blind permanently shut. It also means that there is quite a lot of street noise, although the street is pedestrianised. I would strongly recommend insisting on an upstairs room.|We also had a problem on check-in. We booked online through a well-known hotel booking site, had acknowledgments from the hotel, completed the online check-in, but when we arrived it appeared that they had just let our room to someone else. Luckily we arrived just before 4pm, because there is no-one on reception after 4pm, and after about a 20 minute wait we got it sorted but it was an unnerving start to...

Absolutely amazing hotel, modernly equipped, clean, in an excellent location. A kind and incredibly willing, always smiling receptionist will do anything for you 🥰❤️. The room furniture is practical and stylish. As far as service and cleaning are concerned, he can't be faulted at all. There is a very noisy bar right next to the hotel (but we didn't mind)😊, however during our stay the hotel management had double insulation installed which solved this problem!!! 😮🤩Everything you need is right next to the hotel. Pleasant beach, shops open late into the night, restaurants with very pleasant service. Our favorite restaurant was the Alexander restaurant😋, where we also had fantastic hotel breakfasts.
