I cannot eat bell peppers, I informed the waiter as he was taking our order, I used the Greek word to make sure he understood. Aubergine dip was served, some red pieces were visible. On the menu, there was no ingredient list. I asked the same waiter if the red pieces were tomatoes or peppers, so he went and checked with the chef. Once back, he told me there is no black pepper, but I told him black pepper and bell peppers are very different. He said they don't cook there so the chef doesn't know the ingredients. Our main courses were served, grilled prawns were cold, some had a very strange taste. The side salads tasted like dish soap. The main courses were served with a pink sauce (kind of hot pink colour). We didn't eat it and at the end of the meal we were curious to know what that was, even if we doubted they would have known, as they clearly said they don't cook there. One waiter said a Greek word, we didn't know it, we asked what was inside it and he said he didn't know. It was the worst experience we had in Cyprus,...
Read moreReasonable prices, generous tasty portions and attentive staff. What more do you need to know? We came here to meet a friend on their recommendation. My wife and I ordered a carafe of house wine and a halloumi app, both very pleasant. When our friend failed to show the staff was understanding and never rushed us. We moved on to dinner and ordered kebabs as a portion. We will often order smaller items and share, but the price was so reasonable we went all in. The kebabs were generous and well seasoned. The chips to salad ratio leans heavily toward chips, so if you want a healthier combo get your kebab and salad ala carte. We watched beautiful platters of meat being delivered to large groups, so if you are enough, order the sharing platters. The cypriot coffee was not great, stale and dusty, so avoid that. But otherwise, I was stuffed and my wife took half home, a...
Read moreOh my goodness! I was hesitant when ordering, as I never ever order lamb when I’m out, but I really fancied the lamb souvlaki & I was not disappointed! The Mr ordered roast chicken. Both came with a pile of chips, a side salad and a really tasty tzatziki. The lamb was so tender and juicy, full of flavour and I simply didn’t want it to end! I could only manage one skewer, so the Mr ate the other two. We ended up with a takeaway box filled with the pitta bread, salad and chicken we couldn’t eat. The chips got thrown as they’re never nice later on are they! Such a shame! All this was topped off with a small dessert courtesy of the house, pictured below - I was too engrossed in my food to get a photo of the main event! I’d highly recommend this lovely little find! Friendly, welcoming, clean, tasty, great value! In the words of Arnie, ...
