Our experience at this hotel was disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the first room we were given had several issues: the card insertion device was broken and barely hanging on the wall, and the room lights kept turning on and off. To make matters worse, the elevator wasn’t working, preventing us from reaching the third floor. After reporting these problems to the reception, we were given another room, which was in better condition and more spacious.
Breakfast was another major letdown. It was à la carte, and the menu mentioned a "selection of tea or coffee and apple or orange juice." From our previous stays in Cyprus, we expected freshly squeezed orange juice, but it turned out to be bottled. Additionally, when we ordered coffee, we were informed that cappuccino and other machine-made options cost extra—only Nescafé was included, which felt like a joke for a hotel breakfast. On top of that, the wait time for breakfast was around 40 minutes, which was frustrating.
The food quality was extremely poor. The scrambled eggs were stiff and dry, making us question whether they were actually made from eggs or just some store-bought mixture. The fried eggs were still liquid on the top, and the halloumi wasn’t even grilled—it was just served as cold cheese. The bacon was practically raw. It was clear that most guests didn’t finish their meals, and the whole breakfast experience felt more like a low-budget hostel rather than a proper hotel.
The hotel also didn’t quite match the pictures online—it lacked the charm and quality we expected. The staff wasn’t particularly welcoming or attentive, and something just felt off throughout our stay.
On the positive side, the location was very convenient, close to the city center and the main church. After the room change, we did get a bigger room, and the hotel offered a large, free parking area, which was a plus.
Unfortunately, given the overall experience, I wouldn’t...
Read moreWorst customer service ever! I asked the woman in the reception in the evening was so disappointing. When we checked in, the room lacked one big towel. I called the reception and told her we lack towels. She sounded so unhappy I called, and said call 1-2 hrs after there are no towels. When we returned in the hotel in the evening, we asked her again and she got interrupted while looking at her phone and said “look in the side if there are towels”. Whaaaat?! We the customers should look for towels just because your watching something on your phone?!
The next day, the parking in front of the hotel were full when we came back and UNFORTUNATELY ITS IN THE EVENING AGAIN, so the same woman was at the reception. My bf was so hesitant to ask again as so was not hospitable in helping us. But I gave her another chance, maybe she had a bad day the previous day. So i went and asked if she knows any parking space in the area, she was so uninterested in helping. It was so disappointing and with her tone.
This is what she said “We are a hotel, WE DON’T CARE ABOUT PARKING. We just give keys to our rooms. If there is no parking in front of the hotel. I dont know. Try in the other side maybe its free”
I HAVE NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE TREATED LIKE THIS BY THE PERSON IN RECEPTION. The worst ever!!!! I hope the hotel will think about this.
The guy assisting the guests in the morning were so hospitable and treated the guests so well, unlike what we experienced!
The location is good BUT IT WAS SOOOOOOO NOISY AT 3am with the garbage pick up.
Overall I WILL NEVER COME BACK...
