Hotel Trend is situated in a very good location, at walking distance from the center.||The building and the interior seems reasonably modest, however, the great advantage is that the rooms are very spacious and rich in good surfaces and space for storing and leaving your things. Also the bathroom was quite big, although it was harder to find a place where to put one own things. ||The internet worked great and the beds were very comfortable. Alltogether the room was unexpectedly comfortable, considering that the building didn't look exactly modern and that the hotel is not having the latest "luxury" touches (like a card for opening the door). ||The bathrooms might need a renovation though. Although ok, it was clearly outdated.||In general, the room was quite clean and tidy.||Breakfast was also quite good. There was a good variation, but some of the food I took (some sweet bread and cake) was a bit dry and probably not fresh.||It would be nice to see more organic and "homemade" food.||The stay was also quite priceworthy. Good location, very nice people at reception, nice to be able to have breakfast on balcony terrace. You pay extra for parking garage, which is guarded by camera's so the receptionists can keep an eye on it all the time. Room 403 is too hot. Even when its no so hot outside, the atmosphere in there is too stuffy. I opened the windows wide the whole day and night, i had the fan on as wel, the door to the hallway open: nothing helped. There is no airco, and it feels like all fresh air and oxygen is sucked out of the room, and like the heat is on...
