My room number 42 was different from my friends rooms. I haven’t the kettle, the fridge, the safe box, the light switch, close to the bed. They have them. Besides the door entering the room was broken. The first day they did not clean my room. I had only one towel and no shower carpet. At breakfast orange juice was disgusting. The last they we were talking to the reception man about fixing taxi, for leaving. He said he did do not talk to me, but only to my male friend, because he is from Montenegro, where men talk to men, not to women. This is racism. Eventually he reserved transfert, for airport, telling us to pay to the driver, only by card, maximum 700 crowns. Actually the driver asked for 1100 crowns, only by cash. We had only euros. The change was 1 euro= 25 crowns, it was 44 euros. He applied 1 euro = 20 crowns, and he asked us 50 euros, he robbed us.

Nice little hotel within 10-15 minutes walking distance from crowded tourist attractions. As said before, rooms opening to garden are quiet which enables to sleep window open and enjoy some fresh air. It is not so for rooms opening to the street as traffic is quite intense there. Room is clean but slightly outdated. Room is offering everything needed, although one room did not have TV but instead of it offered built in kitchen corner :) (room 41). Wifi is reasonable and free but only during daytime. Do not hope to use Netflix for evening entertainment. Minibar is available, 2€ for a beer which is cheaper than in a shop right outside of the hotel. Plenty of bars are nearby, KFC and McDonald's too in 200m if needed. Taxi from airport cost around 30€ but should be cheaper.

The accommodation was really good and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, my experience in Prague was spoiled by a taxi scam – for a short 1.7 km ride, the driver charged me 49 €, then switched my 50 € note and claimed it was only 10 €, so I ended up paying 90 € in total. Sadly, this made me feel that Prague is one of the most scammed cities.

If you travel with a group, do not book this hotel. They will make you pay a 120 euro deposition for a room with 4 people. Afterwards when you come to collect your deposition, they will start off only giving you 60 euros. When you ask where the other 60 euros are, they tell you that YOU have been loud, without checking any information or notes on the computer, basically stealing money from you. I asked them to please check our hotel room number and see if there were any notes about my room, but they didnt do that, because now i started to understand that they just scammed everybody in the group. So I asked them, do you do this to everybody? But they only avoid the question and tell us that they had to do so. As in turns out, yes, they did it to other rooms as well, in total they scammed about 27 people. All in all, the staff was very rude, and did not show any respect. I advise you to not book this hotel, they will try to get as much money out of you...

Stayed for 5 nights in the Annex Building which was a short walk through the hotel & round the back. Our room was spacious & clean which was great. The only issues we had with the room were the pillows were too soft so after 1 night they were not great to sleep on. The room was cleaned daily with new towels added, coffee & tea restocked (if used) and bins were emptied - the bedding sheets were not changed however.|Breakfast was great with a crusty variety of of options each day from pasta, couscous, beans, sausages, eggs & sweet pastries.|Dinner was served round the corner at “Legenda” we were given some paper vouchers to use at the restaurant which offered a 2 course meal (Soup & Main or Dessert & Main) |The staff were lovely & welcoming, greeting us each time we saw them which was nice to experience.||Overall the stay was amazing & it’s located in a great part of Prague. Would...
