Restaurant Na Brezance — Restaurant in Prague

On our last day to Prague we went here because it was close from our hotel and I guess it was a huge mistake that we did not tried it before.

The best pork knuckle/leg and ribs I have ever tried either in Prague or in Vienna (and trust me I went only in high rated restaurants and only for local food)!

and prices? Half of what I have paid in each and every restaurant.

In addition we asked for onion baked bread. First they asnwered that it serves only with Tartar, but they did it anyway for us.

I do not now why this restaurant does not have 4.9 stars.

If you expect Gault&Millau type - this is not for you. But if you look homey/local atmosphere, deliceous and huge portions of meat dishes and fresh fresh fresh...

We expected the food to be overpriced but it was the quality of it that was the major disappointment. We ordered a duck leg with dumplings and a duck breast plus grilled veggies. The leg was rather tasteless but okay. The other dish, however, was a complete disaster. Besides the breast being tiny, the 'grilled' vegetables were blatantly raw. Purple onion made half of it with the rest being orange and green pepper and cucumber (seriously?!). If you can ruin a dish like that, what should one expect from more complex menu items? On top of that, we were charged a 10% service fee... The positive reviews posted here left me wondering if we actually visited...

Don't go there. We went there tonight and the 2 guys, one behind the bar and another waiter? were absolutely ignorant, we came in out of a thunderstorm expecting to enjoy some food and drinks, the two guys completely ignored us, the waiter actually barging past us as if we were invisible, only when we went to sit down did he block us, when we asked for a table for 4 they both began in on off kilter and puzzlingly aggressive way to say 'No Hello! ' in a way that could only be interpreted as you are not welcome here, so we left and went instead to a very nice Thai restaurant nearby, go figure what this pair are on. I would give this...
