I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Alfons Boutique Hotel during my visit to Prague, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This charming boutique hotel truly exceeded my expectations in terms of its elegant ambiance, and attention to detail.
Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the hotel's beautifully designed interior. The blend of modern and classic elements created a sophisticated atmosphere that exuded both style and comfort. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the tastefully furnished rooms to the meticulously decorated common areas. The overall aesthetic was a perfect blend of contemporary design and traditional Czech influences, creating a unique and memorable ambiance.
The hotel staff, without exception, were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The reception staff were efficient and professional, providing useful information about the local area and recommendations for dining and sightseeing. Their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay truly impressed me.
Speaking of comfort, the rooms at Alfons Boutique Hotel were absolutely delightful. The attention to detail carried over into the well-appointed accommodations, where no aspect was overlooked. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern amenities and luxurious touches. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep, and the well-appointed bathrooms offered both style and functionality. Additionally, the complimentary Wi-Fi and well-placed workspaces were a welcome convenience for business travelers like myself.
The hotel's location was another highlight. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, it offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling city center while remaining within easy reach of Prague's main attractions. The proximity to public transportation made it convenient to explore the city, and there were also charming cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance.
In conclusion, my stay at Alfonse Boutique Hotel was truly exceptional. From the elegant design to the impeccable service and outstanding dining options, every aspect of this hotel exceeded my expectations. Whether you're visiting Prague for business or pleasure, I highly recommend this boutique hotel for a truly memorable and...
Read moreEnsure to book from trusted platform I used Agoda and it ruined my stay by sharing incorrect information and no support was given when it was raised. Being a platinum member from over 10 years booked over 8 countries approx. Or more, the support was worthless and disappointingly disrespectful with untrained professionals .
Talking about the hotel… stayed from 5th August to 9th August 2024
Hotel is good for couples/Solo but make sure you are well aware, if your room is without the ac or with ( specially in summers it can be hot during the day) as it is bit of a gap there and I personally suffered . I had to pay extra to get an air-conditioned room from 4 nights got only 2 days as rest two days nothing was available. Not a perfect experience moving rooms every second day and mess up the entire day plans.
Would be really difficult with kids or families hotel need to improve their backup plans for situations like mine. Travelled 18 hours and was totally disappointed .
The hotel do not offer anything complimentary options even the coffee/water (tap water is recommended by the hotel) you have to pay , usually in 4 stars facilities, it is complimentary all over the world atleast where i have been. So make sure you are well aware of the charges .
Hotels do not offer much of amenities like slippers or dental kits . I wasn’t provided dental kit despite of requesting . Reception speaks good english but not the room service staff.
Not recommended for families with young children as the hotel has lifts but still you need to walk some stairs to any floor , this could be hazard to children safety .
Location is about 25 mins walking to old square and malls so either you cab or take tram (still will take you 7 mins walk further to city center and malls)
Hotels surrounding areas is good feel of local businesses with supermarket just beside and an information center to book your trips . Not bad to explore the area .
Hope the above helps, to be mindful and can turn out to be a better...
Read moreI absolutely loved this hotel!! Out of all the 4 star hotels we’ve stayed so far in Europe, this is the ONLY one that lived up to the 4 star standard.
The room was very large with the sofa converted into a single bed for my daughter. Even though only 1 pillow per person, it was nice and plump. The beds were comfortable - only thing I do want to mention is, the mattress connecter which goes on top of the 2 mattresses (to make it a king bed) should be under the fitted sheet and not above it as it moves around and doesn’t feel like one bed then. The room was very clean with enough towels and it has airconditioning as well. There was also a small kitchenette with a hot plate, microwave and crockery. Our room also had a balcony with beautiful views! Location: it was right in the centre of Prague and walking distance to almost everything. Within 30min you can reach almost all the major sights. The tram is also close by. Staff were all extremely friendly!
The cons: There were some noise from surrounding rooms. Early in the morning someone would slam a door continuously that felt like it was in our room. The breakfast really needs some attention. There are quite a bit of options which changes every morning BUT there isn’t just plain fried eggs with bacon and toast. In fact, they don’t serve any bacon at all which was odd. Type of eggs change daily in the buffet. For us, the amount charged for breakfast wasn’t worth it. Across the road is a lovely coffee shop which has nice breakfast options.
Due to the hotel being in the centre which is a great location, the street can be noisy for some. This isn’t something that bothered me really but might not be for everyone. The police is VERY efficient which is a good thing but they come down this road often and obviously you hear the sirens. The windows actually block out all the other road noises but the sirens you hear often.
All in all, it was a great hotel which I will gladly return to, the breakfast just needs...
